Not quite as transparent as other film I have used but still a very good product.
This is good printing film. It holds ink very well and is very durable. I have a Black Max system and the film hold black immediately and does not smear or drip. My one complaint is that the film is not quite as transparent as other brands I have used. I have a great exposure unit so it is not a big deal but with certain prints I get an outline of the film and a slightly weaker hold in the area where the film was attached to the screen.Because of the film's very absorbent characteristic (which is a good thing), the film is very volatile to humidity and moisture in the air. When I received the film, I first printed a halftone test and the film held up great. I then left that film out, unexposed, for a day in my shop. I then compared it to the other film which was still sealed in the bag they came in. The film had glossed over quite a bit. That is not a criticism. In order for the film to properly suck up ink, it would have to have a tendency to suck up any moisture and that includes the moisture in the air. So the lesson is, keep them sealed in their bag.Regarding the slightly less clear nature of the film, I can make this observation because I have film from another couple distributors and this one is not as crystal clear as the other brands. But, it is also 1/2 the price and holds ink just as well. So if you know how to properly expose and you keep these sealed, you will be happy with them. I will buy them again.

Best 13x19 sheets around because they dont stick to each other
I've used these films with the artisan 1430 by epson on a continuous ink system and filmsdirectonline brand UV ink that's $99 for 32oz. I've used other sheets and they stick to each other. These do not stick, so printing multiple sheets using the ditto inkjet film feeder.
