Little Cousin to Moondrop Chu!
I would only be reviewing the sound quality of these. The tuning is Neutral. So this is great people looking for Neutral Sound SignatureMids are tuned similar to but not exactly the same to Moondrop Chu all the other aspects falls short and considering the price its a surprise it even comes close to its Big Bro (More about mids in later part)Bass is mid bass focused and not at all bloaty… a amount that would be considered natural is present with kicks providing enough energyUnfortunately due to 8.5mm drivers being rather small… Sub Bass lacks and is not present that much and just a little amount of it is present not enough to feel that lovely deep bass rumble but just enough to fulfill the sub bass requirement in music…. but that may be a plus point or people looking for audio quality with clarity (I do not mean clarity in treble… that’s sharpness… and its present in other budget earphones) in the budget segment b/c 99% of budget earphones (yes even including the chinese ones) increase the sub bass in their tuning for the iem and due to the budget constrictions the drivers used being average and is not able to perform technically well, the muddiness increases due to which the mid range suffers terribly and sounds compressed and not natural and open as it should. Its one of the rare budget IEMs under Rs1200 where Audio Technica has put the effort into tuning keeping in mind the drivers limitations in which the Sub bass or the mid bass is not affecting the other frequencies while also sounding relatively clear, although the resolution of the bass is low like other IEMs in this price range, that isn’t punching above although I wasn’t expecting to be higher either. The mids are where this shines. They sound CORRECT. Natural with touch of warmth and sweetness that is also non fatiguing to the ears. There is a boost in the lower mid range but only a slight boost nothing too intimate making it not deviate from natural sounding vocals(I personally like warmth in music but this is going for a more neutral approach). Also there is a boost in the upper midrange but nothing much to make it fatiguing to listen to or shouty. Male vocals have that deepness and female vocals sound sweet. So it nails both the departments but obviously it wont beat the more expensive IEMs. Vocals are the best in this range period.Highs is its weak point and if you like sparkle in the highs its not present to put it bluntly. The details in the highs is there but not crisp and sharp. The details are not pronounced. Treble is present in a natural amount and there is roll off at higher and higher frequencies which is great for people like me who are very sensitive to highs although the sacrifice are the microdetails but to be honest in this budget even if the highs were present the microdetails would be not present as clearly due to the limitations of the drivers not being able to produce them. The highs being present in just enough amount makes the music just barely open enough so that its not a problem. When compared to CHiFi this IEM is great even when compared to CHiFi as long as you're not going upto Rs1500 in CHiFi and in some areas the vocals are even better compared to KZ ZST X. After Rs1500 the CHiFi beats this IEM but it is very well tuned for the price. So in conclusion, buy these if you're looking for a neutral non fatiguing IEM that's great for vocals and you want quality of audio with clarity in bass and mids and highs and also clear separation between the bass mids and highs which does not mush into each other and create a mush of music. Although they might not sound exciting but if you want something that sounds balanced these are the IEMs to go with.

The best in the price range.
The best sound accurate headphone in the price range. Even though this is the best in all aspects (within this price range) it feels cheap. But the actual build quality is better that the feel not the best

Blissful Sound Signature
Tl;DR :- Overall I would rate these 9/10 for its audio quality and an overall of 7/10 including the build quality and price.1.Sound Quality:-If you are someone who prefers a flat/neutral sound signature with just the right amount of bass and phenomenal mids, then these earphones will molest your ears passionately, the highs are above average, depending on your preference you might like it and might not.2.Build Quality:-At this price range you can't ask for anything more than this, while these may seem fragile, they are quite strong, they might look cheap plastic wires, but better than cheap rubber wires.3.Comfort and Fit:-Oh boy you put these on and you forget they are in your ears, lightweight asf, the silicon tips are comfortable asf.

Don't buy it!
This thing has such a bland sound. No bass, no treble, only vocals are clear but it doesn't justify it's Rs 600+ price tag. Also the wire of this thing is fragile AF. Only positive is the earbuds are comfortable and suppresses noise quite well. This is a Rs 300 earphone at best, you are paying a premium of Rs 300 just for the brand name. Whereas other brands have updated their products according to the market and the needs of end users in the sub 1000 category, Audiotechnica is regressing. My honest advice - Please don't waste your money like I did, you will thank me later.

Sounds good but look and feel cheaper than Chinese earphones
I have been using other brands of earphones and i thought I'd give this a try as audio technica is a very reputable brand in the audio recording arena. Here's my honest reviewThe build quality and look is as cheap as those roadside Chinese earphones. Almost even cheaper than some of them. Doesn't feel premium at all.The sound is why I gave that 3 star. It does replicate the output of an interface to some extend. Pretty balanced although not perfect. The microphone however is not very good as i keep hearing complains from people i call.Other than the brand, i don't know if it is worth it as there are few other brands in the market at price lower than this that are much better in terms of build quality and looks. It's a very big compromise buying this for the balanced audio output.

Creative EP630 was an earphone. Rest all just clutter the space!
This earphone is decent. I got used to it quickly. Maybe thats how it is. My reference was EP630 from Creative. The bass is significantly lower than most quality earphones. At 700-something, it packs a rather picnic-y vibe. Eh...It's built well for a Japanese brand. Seems sturdy. The reason why I chose AT over Indian brands is the longevity of their products. If you CAN afford a 3.5mm Jack, you should consider this headphone among your top 3 options.

Punches above its weight
I had a Cowon EM1 - I loved it for its bass. When it broke I got a Sennheiser CX 300s. It is fine - it has a wide soundstage and that's it. No decent bass. The problem with it boiled down to improper fit and thus the bad isolation with all of the 3 sizes of the ear bud cushion wrt my ear.So I was hunting for a Cowon EM1 like earphone and I stumbled upon this via an Amazon sponsored listing. I decided to go for it and got it today. This Audio Technica CLR100IS has both of the CX300s like wide soundstage and the EM1 like bass. I am really enjoying my flac audio tracks once again in a long time. All for a similar price as the EM1 which is a third of the price of the CX300s.Although one thing to be aware of is the build quality: it's below average. You lose that in return for sound quality. In summary, it punches way above its weight. A worthy successor to my EM1. Highly recommended.
