We bake our own bread and need something to do that safely. We were getting burnt with the pot holders, oven mitts were clumsy, and in my opinion very unsafe. What better way to grab things with a firm safe grip than using all of your fingers and thumb naturally. Use a glove! That's how. These oven/BBQ gloves offer terrific protection and allow you to grab things naturally. The non-slip silicone added to the grasping surface of the gloves assure that your grip is secure. The gloves fit my any size hand and are very comfortable. They are extremely well insulated and you only feel a little warmth through the gloves. We bake our bread in a 450 degree oven using cast iron dutch ovens as a baking form. The dutch ovens get really hot. These gloves allow us to handle them with no possibility of burns on our hands or arms. We love these gloves, and for us, the only safe way to move hot items in and out of our oven. They are a terrific value and very high quality. We give them 5 stars.

The gloves are billed as BBQ gloves. But I use them with my wood stove. Adding logs to an already blazing fire in the stove can be tricky. The firebox isn't that big and you have to get that log in there. These gloves are most helpful.

Perfect for wood burning stoves. I can’t live without them in the winter.

I have very big hands and terrible trouble having oven more that work for me. I had to cook the turkey for Thanksgiving and all they had were some small Davey ones that I couldn't even fit in my hands. I wasn't changing that I've been burned too many times (pun intended though not at first). I ordered these and they worked great. Kept my hands cool and allowed for easy gripping of everything.

Love these. I use them to hold hot skillets too heavy to hold just by the handle when I need to pour meat out of the skillet to drain. I also use them to get a better grip on pans coming out of the oven.

Disappointed – Not as Heat Resistant as Advertised I purchased these gloves because they’re advertised as heat resistant up to 1472°F and EN407 certified, but in practice, they didn’t come close to that. I used them while handling items around 500°F, and I could immediately feel the heat through the gloves—definitely not safe for higher-temp grilling or fireplace use. There may have been a defect or labeling mistake, but I didn’t feel comfortable taking the risk. I ended up returning the item. They did have a good grip and seemed well-made otherwise, so maybe I got a faulty pair. Just be cautious if you’re buying these for serious high-heat cooking.

These are terrific. They are comfy and they provide excellent heat resistance. No more burns. They do run very large, but I'd rather they are too big than too small. I'm very happy with these. Great to have the flexible fingers for grabbing things much easier than the mitts.
