Magic Cat Track and Ball Toy for Kittens Pets Kitties Cats

When our kittens were tiny, we had a small round ball track with a scratching pad in the middle. They both played with it, but our female kitten in particular LOVED that thing and would play with it constantly. As the cats have gotten bigger, we wanted to get them a larger, more sophisticated track to see if they'd enjoy it as much. They definitely do! We hear the ball rolling intermittently at all hours. The fact that it's segmented and can easily change shape varies the experience for them and prevents them from getting bored with it. Overall, I am thrilled with this purchase!

Cat loves it. I love that i can customize the size and shape. However, it falls appart easily.

This is easy to assemble. The balls stay in for the most part. It keeps the cats engaged.

The concept of this cat toy is rad - it's fun to put it together in different shapes and configurations for novelty and to keep the cats interested. The figure eight shape is a favourite. The cats [we have 14] are just as creative in how they play with it, too. I just wish it was far, far sturdier and more durable where the pieces that make the track connect.In the attached picture, I circled the two areas of issue that brought down the review score and overall make this a cat toy some might want to skip - especially if your cats are bigger or even play a little rough, if they slide into it, etc. Those two plastic pieces are thin and prone to breaking off. This makes the piece of track useless as it can't connect anymore. We don't take it apart and put it together unnecessarily to cause any extra stress, but just through the cats playing with it for almost two weeks, we've already had to throw away two pieces of the track. I'm not optimistic for the longevity of the rest of it, which sucks considering how great this toy is otherwise.

I have 12 cats, I rescue them, so I'm constantly looking for new toys to keep them active and interested. This one however, did nothing to keep their attention. Mine are adult cats, maybe kittens would be different. It is built well, and is a neat idea, but not for adult cats.

My cats LOVE this toy. Even the one that normally doesn't take to toys will play with it. I played with it a little in front of them and let them get accustomed to its presence, and within a couple hours they were playing with it on their own. I recommend using just one ball instead of two, since the other one just tends to get in the way and impedes fluid playtime.I'm really glad I sprung for this thing. It's especially fun if you put it on a slightly uneven surface like a rug or carpet, since the links making up the track are really sensitive to "terrain" and will make interesting dips and hills that the ball rolls ball and forth on in unexpected ways. My cats think the ball has a mind of its own.It can be a bit noisy once a cat starts getting really into it, so I just remove the ball at night and replace it in the morning, which also helps to maintain their interest. (Cats get jaded by new things pretty easily)

This is a flexible alternative if your cat likes ball tracks. You can route it under furniture around cat trees and over food trays or flat cardboard scratchers if you don't have a lot of space. You don't need the entire pack to make a circle and can add sections as you have space. The balls are heavier than the ones in the ball towers and keep their momentum well. If you also have a ball tower, these balls will fit in there and make the tower go longer for extra play options. The track comes apart easily and you can clean (and scrub) the segments with water and dish soap. With several taking apart and putting back together actions I've so far only managed to break the connecting part on one piece. Don't know what the difference of "durability" vs. "sturdiness" in the rating is meant to be, but I was surprised that this track isn't delicate and could take a beating. Cat loves it, particularly if I marinade one of the balls in catnip for a few days and then bring it out.

As soon as I got this assembled my cats went crazy for this toy. The balls that slide inside of the rails are slightly weighted and will travel much fairly far. The only issue I’ve had was tripping on the product by accident and a few of the pieces broke. It’s not really an issue though because you can remove broken pieces and reconnect.
