A paragraph xD
This pen is the one of the best! The grip is very soft and squishy, and thicker than my uni Kuru Toga (Automatic). Plus, it is not the kind of grip that would get stained or faded from regular use (unless you purposely tried). From the picture alone I thought the color would somehow be less vibrant, but I was very impressed with the aesthetic look of it. The blue and the silver, along with the white strip on the gel grip and the blue tip on the hook combine to form a very pleasing pencil. One of the things I was a bit reluctant about was that the natural shaking mechanism would engage whenever I moved or walked, wasting the lead. However, there are two functions on the clicker at the end. When the clicker is normal, as in it is fully raised, then the shaker function works and you shake the pencil for the lead to come out. When you press the clicker it stays down and no lead comes out no matter how much you shake it. In fact, if you try to write with it in this mode the lead goes back in, not comes out.The eraser is inside the clicker cap and it is kind of small I might use it up after a few weeks or so. But you can get refills, the size is the "Uni Mechanical Pencil Eraser Refill S". The packet Amazon sells comes with 5 of them at 3.99 right now (might change)This pencil is pretty thick so if you have a death grip it might cause cramps in your fingers. Maybe get the thinner version, "slim" version that is also a shaker. The pencil is very solid. The tip comes off and the silver body twists off to reveal the weighted spring inside that causes the shaking motion, it all should be very easy to fix.I got mine super fast. It came in 2 days, standard shipping, no Prime.

Best Mechanical Pencil I've Ever Tried.
Hands down the greatest mechanical pencil that I have ever used (and I have used a great deal of them). This is a very comfortable pencil to hold and I tend to grip very hard on my pencils (and normally get callouses/indentations in my skin as well as my fingers start aching). I can use this pencil for hours and not feel tired and I draw a lot. After finding this brand I haven't used anything else since and now own 3 of these in different colors (and will probably get more in the future) as well as the skinnier version that this brand makes. There is a locking mechanism for the pencil so that the shaker doesn't randomly shake lead out while it is stored away. One little con is that sometimes little dusts and things get stuck at the grip but it comes off easily and isn't much of an issue for me.Would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for an amazing and comfortable mechanical pencil. It is worth the money! But I would suggest maybe waiting because I find that the pricing on this fluctuates and might get cheaper. And there are also other listings that might be cheaper (if you don't mind a certain color).

Superb! I didn't know a pencil could be this good!
I have carpal tunnel and I am a teacher. I use pencils during data gathering of 400 students, and with making millions of check marks, I would go through cheap pencils like crazy. Or I'd have to constantly sharpen wood pencils to even get me through 1 day. During those days of writing and constant repetitive movements, at the end of the day, my hands would ache a little. This pencil is great! I absolutely love the shake feature- something I never knew that I was missing! Makes my testing days so much smoother. It seems so insignificant but not having to click for more lead is awesome! The pencil looks very nice too. I keep it with me at all times to make sure that it doesn't 'accidentally' disappear at work. My hands do not ache like they did when I used other pencils.

nice pencil
feels good, writes well, looks nice... if you are going to spend a few bucks on a single pencil this is not a bad choice.

My Favorite Pencil
If you write a lot, this pencil is a heavenly. My hand doesn't fatigue and the grippy part is just the right size. I've tried other soft grippy mechanical pencils, but the grippy part is so huge I tend to focus more on keeping the darn thing under control than the writing. This pencil is just right; not too firm, not too soft, not too big, not too small. Also, the shaker mechanism for getting new lead down the chute is fun and it works. I love being able to just load the pencil up with lead and give a little shake to drop the lead. It's a great design. If you have others in your household, just buy a handful, this will become the favorite pencil for everyone as well.

I do not even own a pencil sharpener at home anymore
If you are a fan of thicker writing tools like myself, you will love this pencil. The gel is just right, not too hard, not too soft. A trigonometry based physics class with 10+ pages of notes per class followed by a statistics class was made tolerable with this pencil. I used to always use the Sakura SumoGrip for the shape of its padding. It still started to develop a callous on my middle finger further into the semester. With this Uni pencil, no more shaking my hands mid test to relieve a sore hand. Its too bad that this pencil is not exported to the US and we need to rely on international resellers who need to eat. I picked up a few on a recent trip to Asia and they were cheaper, but not by much. The markup by this reseller is very fair.

Comfy and cute
I have arthritis in my hands and fingers and have tried multiple versions of mechanical pencils with padding. This one is the best yet! No matter how tightly I grip with my fingers I do not compress the rubber section enough to feel the metal shaft. This is wonderful.Pros: Very well padded, super cute, easy to advance the lead by shaking or by depressing the end to do it one click at a time.Cons: My packaging was entirely in Chinese so if you need instruction, good luck. That being said anyone who ever used a mechanical pencil would be fine.Caution: If you like to hold your pencil close to the end, this might not work for you. In order to have my fingers on the rubber section they are 1 1/4" above the lead. Took me a while to get used to holding the pencil a bit higher than I once did, but worth it.
