The media could not be loaded. Does what I bought for, so can't fault it for anything. The colours are great and the touch screen feels amazing. I reckon you could do some animation with it if you really wanted to.

what I am currently using it for:as a second monitor. wanted something not too small to be able to multi task on.positives:cool that it has some functions like the screen brightness, an earphone jack output, the USB, HDMI connectors included. build on casing is quite nice too, you don't get to see that many monitors that have them within the equal to and below 10 inch screens..negatives:the screen contrast is a bit hard to look at as it is too sharp on the eyes. changing the brightness helped a little but would have wanted to lower the contrast on it. instructions for setting up the audio and more details.my question:is there a way to make the audio work with the laptop? I read in the manual it needs a raspberry pi to change the setting's and allow the audio to work, but I don't have one of those. I also saw the URL webpage to get more information but I have security concerns with the website.

Nice lil screen . Buttons are a little hard to press but nothing i cant handle.powered over 5v so excellent a lot of areas.Much better than all the 7inch lcds iv bought with open backs .comes wit a stand//cover too.mini hdmi to full size adapter made this a treat.

Bought it to have a portable dvd player that run on power bank.Can whatch old dvds for houers as I camp.Only use it for weeks so can not tell you more.

Amazing little screen. Exactly what I needed. Price is OK would’ve expected more around £40 range. Other than that serves well for what I need it for.

I chose this particular model because of its cover; I can sling it in the cupboard without worry about damage or parts detaching! The unit is powered by the usb cable so no separate power supply is needed. The screen is bright and clear. The buttons on the side for ON/OFF and brightness are a little obscure. They work. As another reviewer commented, the supplied cables are rather short and the USB power cable supplied with mine was loose in the socket. I changed it for a longer cable and this plug seems OK now.The hdmi socket is the mini version and you might have to buy a new cable that is longer. I plugged the device into into my laptop via hdmi but whilst the screen worked beautifully there was no sound. The separate jack for sound is effective. For some obscure reason the touch facility didn't work with the laptop.I think the product is designed to add to single board computers like the Raspberry Pi and the suppliers even included heat sinks for a Raspberry Pi. The instructions, despite a bit of Chinese English, are fairly comprehensive.For adding to a Raspberry Pi during system setup (the reason I bought this) it works very well.
