It's faster since it has two heads, and also a rechargeable battery you can plug into any phone charger at the wall or in the car. It is easy to use, and clothing goes from looking old to brand new again. No need to donate those old sweaters, scarves, gloves, hats, etc. Now I can just restore the new look! Amazing. I can even buy used clothing and spruce it up so nobody knows it's been "worn out" due to pilling. Pills are gone in literally seconds.

Let me start by saying I never take the time to write reviews, but this baby is way too amazing not to give it the kudos. I have a Casterly couch that I’ve had for less than a year, but it piled terribly. I had a cheaper fabric shaver and got so frustrated trying to tackle the couch. It clogged so quickly and just wasn’t powerful. I gave up half way through a cushion for a lack of progress. It didn’t do much at all, and wasn’t worth the time. But given the couch was pretty expensive, I decided paying $30 for this one was a tiny expense in comparison to the couch. So I pulled the trigger and bought it. Let me tell you…I felt like I was in an infomercial this thing works so well! Literally texted pictures to family and friends. 😂 It worked so well that I actually enjoyed using it and the couch looks brand new!!!If you’re on the fence, don’t be. It works incredibly well, it’s rechargeable, holds a ton of fuzz, and with the two heads makes tackling big areas a breeze. The side by side before and after pics on my review speak for themselves. Best money I’ve spent in a while, worth every penny. Just do it.

Just a product that works to clean up all the fuzz on socks sweaters etc so you can make them looking new again.

This thing works pretty well, it's powerful and the two heads are nice for shaving larger items.But I really came here to talk about the INSANELY UNINTUITIVE DESIGN—the power button is incredibly sensitive and located in the exact position that when one grabs the handle of the device, or even holds it, or sets it down, or basically uses a human hand with this device, it almost always accidentally powers on.I have accidentally triggered this thing on every time I have picked it up, and usually trip it on accident several times and each time it is startling. It is impossible to avoid and it has even turned on when the blade covers are off which is just terrifying.So to whoever designed this fabric shaver, PLEASE think about putting the power button in some other place, not where your index finger naturally lands when picking up or putting down or using the device.Also it took me a long time to realize there is a lint brush under the very stubborn back panel. Lastly, the lint container is very hard to remove (and since there is only one way to hold this device, trying to open it will definitely cause a few accidental power-on incidents).Otherwise, works well enough. Not sure why there are two speeds, doesn't seem to make any difference.

This little shaver is a miracle worker on pilling on couch fabric. I wish I’d taken a before and after pic, so easy to use and fast, I did all 4 large couch cushions in 5 minutes. No batteries required, it’s rechargeable and works right out of the box. Love this little appliance!

I was looking for a shaver to remove pilling from my West Elm sectional. I had bought a different one but it was small and didn’t really work. After reading tons of reviews, I decided to give this one a try and it did not disappoint!! I was so amazed at the immediate difference - WOW! This thing really works.I love the two speed setting and that it charges via USB. The only thing I did not like was that the lint container fills up quickly - I had to empty it about 4 times to get through the whole sectional - and the cover was a bit hard to get off. Other than that, works perfect!

I purchased a sectional that soon after purchase I noticed pilling on material. I was devastated. I purchased another shaver but it didn’t do well with removing the pilling. I decided to purchase this one after watching a video of it and reading the reviews. I am very satisfied with the product. The different speeds gets the job done ugly pilling are gone. Shown in the before and after pictures.I highly recommend this product.

Couch looks like new. It’s a linen type sectional and it was starting to feel rough. This little gadget made it smooth and look like we just bought it. Definitely recommend !!

Decided to splash out on this, having initially expecting to pay around £5-10 for a basic one. Definitely the right decision. Its quick due to wider blade area and works really well.
