Worth having just not for a Tsx 09-14
I never got the chance to use it but after seeing it work in person on someone else car it's worth having. Unfortunately for a 09-14 Acura Tsx there's no harness to use this you will have to hardwire the car to connect this.

Expensive but Recommended
Technical support by email for my questions was virtually instantaneous. This probably sounds like a fake review, but I could not have been more impressed with this product or the customer support. Documentation was great - complete and easy to follow.

Civic Premium Audio System Amplifier and Sub Retention
I installed this harness with a Maestro RR module for a JVC KW-M788BH head unit in a 2011 Civic Si. Online instructions are good overall. This harness allowed me to retain factory amp and sub operation with an aftermarket head unit, as well as steering controls. Overall, all functions work without issue after flashing the Maestro, including gages and TPMS data. There is no antenna adapter included, which is strange considering that everything else is, and there are some unused wires for each vehicle in the harness, but at least the Metra unit is inexpensive. The other downside is that with my setup ("plug and play" per the instructions) I am getting a "digital" ticking noise when the volume is low on the head unit. Upon research on the 12 Volt Data forum, other users have reported similar issues, and it supposedly stems from K-line communication noise back feeding through the RCA connections, and potentially a ground loop when using the harness ground alone. The solution is supposedly to untape (but not to unpin) the K-line communication wire from the rest of the HO1 harness and move it so it is no longer parallel to the audio wires (to cancel out noise transmission), and also to reroute the ground from the harness direct to chassis/bare metal ground. This would be a nice update for the instructions. Finally, the last downside is that "dedicated" sub control is not retained, but this is more of a factory amp limitation than a harness limitation. The sub can still be passively controlled via the equalizer as the sub frequencies will be filtered through the factory amp and the rear speakers.Otherwise, this is nearly plug and play save for soldering in about 5 wires and the antenna adapter to the head unit harness- it saves a lot of time. This is better than getting an amp bypass harness if all one wants to do is upgrade the head unit and keep all else the same.
