how high does it extend?

W ok ok the sew tech thread holder also work for a plan sewing machine?

I did not receive any instructions nor the insert for cone threads, where can I get these?

Purchased on amazon. all assembled now. but do the two thread guides go on the front or back of the support plates? i see both ways in amazon.
