Game changer. I put up with and enjoyed good/fair speakers basically all my life. I decided to try something that I hoped was better and spent more money than I really wanted to. I have to say it paid off this time. These speakers sound perfect to me. I'm getting the most enjoyment out of my system than at anytime before, more than I thought possible. Sound clarity and detail is impressive. I really recommend these and if you can find a way to purchase them I feel you will be rewarded with a great sounding speaker just like I was. These are larger than what I had before but not by much. Strangely they are less noticeable in my listening space. I think it is because they are designed to sit on the floor and not on a tall speaker stand. These do have a base that is made to the bottom of the speaker that tilts the speaker back and at the listener. While still in full view they don't stand out as much and blend in better with the room. I purchased the Cherry finish and it is just beautiful. Nice and smooth, no flaws that I could find anywhere. The grills are not something that I would choose but they look good enough and not distracting. I don't notice any sound change with them on or off. Highly recommend.

Not my first pair. Wow I ordered these yesterday and they showed up today next day delivery! Wow great! Cant wait to unbox and set them up when the rest of my new system arrives! Merry Christmas!

Had my eye on this speaker for while. Price fluctuations kept me from "pulling the trigger" several times. This is my final upgrade to my sound system before retirement...thus far, we'll worth it!

I've owned a set of Klipsch RP-280F tower speakers for approximately 5+ years and have loved them from day one. They have a bright but balanced sound that easily fills the room (18.5x14.5) they are in. I've always felt they were a good fit for me, but also felt they didn't quite live up to a set of Klipsch speakers I had in the 1990's that had a rear passive radiator. Well a few days ago I received a new set of Klipsch Heresy IV's (Natural Cherry) and right out of the box I again heard that wonderful special balance of sound I haven't heard since 1994 and I knew I had made the right choice, These speakers are of course no where near burned in but right out of the box they sound better than anything I've heard in 20 years. They have a special sound that evokes the feeling being at a concert or sitting in a club somewhere in New York city. They are so clear and open I am hearing things in CD's I haven't heard in decades, I am using an HK-3490 100 watt receiver/amp I've had for 5+ years, not some Class A high voltage amp for $6k, just a $450 normal amp and they shine. I could go on and on, but until you've heard them it's just words. I'd also like to add that the workmanship is like fine furniture, the serial numbers for each speaker are number matched so the grain is perfectly matched. I've paired these speakers with a single Klipsch 12 inch sub and they sound great. So if your thinking about pulling the trigger on these I hope this review pushes you over the line, you won't regret it.

I did some research on the Klipsche Heritage Series Heresy IV speakers before I purchased them, so I had some pretty solid expectations of them, when they arrived. These speakers are VERY EFFICIENT in producing sound. I don't even come close to pushing my amp when playing music through the Heresy IV's. I'm using a Pioner 1280 monster amp for these speakers. For the sound, they reveal everything in high clarity. They even pick up the sound of the room the instrument were recorded in. It's hard to explain that, but when listening to Stevie Nicks Bella Donna CD remastered, the drum sound was AMAZING, and all instruments and Stevies singing sounded like they were in my room. I'll even add; listening to the Led Zeppelin Box set 1990 issue, it was like Jimmy's Marshall Amp was rich there, and Robert Plant was placed right in the middle. I tend to listen to classic rock, but Jazz and accoustic arrangements are fantastic. So overall frequency response; I'm still working on key position for these speakers in my room, but they are very good in high frequency and mid-range. The bass is on point, but if you are looking for a bass heavy sound, these may not be what you are looking for. I would say, if you have a critical ear for music though, these speakers will keep you very satisfied.
