It does the job.
Saw a video on YouTube that stated how important it was to protect the ignition button from direct sunlight due to the cost of replacing the ignition cylinder. Went ahead and bought this little rubber cover. Slipped right on and offers the protection I was looking for.

Fits well, says “ignition” instead of “power” which is what the factory button has on it. Overall a good option to protect the factory ignition button.

Great item if you need it.
Wish I had found this long ago but it is great to have now! I use on a 2015 R1200R and it is perfect! I used some thin double-sided tape around the perimeter of the button and it fits very well.
