what to do with a 82lb dog!
A DNA test showed that our full of energy rescue dog was: 1/2 Siberian Husky-1/4 Austrillian Cattle dog and 1/4 mastiff! all three working breeds! In desperation to find him a "job" I read about dog sports and liked the idea of being able to scooter with him. I found a sled club on line and signed up for it's "Pull clinic". When it was our turn to try a scooter out. Parker took off like a duck to water, we we're both instantlly hooked! We ended up buying a DSK Diggler, it was the one recomended by the club. And a quick ride told why. The diggler is lower to the ground for better center gravity, has a much larger foot board, quality of constrction was nicer than the 2 other brands we considered. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my diggler! Parker isn't as distructive as he had been and I've lost 38 lbs!

Enjoy the ride - your dog will thank you for it!
IMO, the Diggler DSK is by far the best dog scooter out there for urban mushing. I run my dogs on the Diggler, both on dirt trails and pavement, and it easily withstands the abuse of being pulled by three hard-charging huskies. The design of the aluminum frame makes it relatively lightweight yet very robust and can take a heavy pounding going through rough terrain. The platform is both wider and longer than most other scooters out there and allows me to place both feet on the Diggler, making it a much more stable, comfortable, and fun ride. It feels a lot like being on skis or a skateboard (with the added plus of having brakes....and yes, next to my dogs, brakes are my best friend when out riding the trails) as I am able to shift my weight and bend my knees to lower my center of gravity when taking turns or going through bumps.I also highly recommend the Alpha Dawg (I own one these as well) - it's the exact same scooter except it is equipped with v-brakes instead of disc brakes. Either one of these would be a great ride with one, two, or three dogs (just make sure both you and your dogs have gained some experience first running 2-dog team configurations before attempting to run 3 on the scooter).Urban mushing is a blast for me and my dogs and the Diggler has helped me exercise them in a fun, safe, and exhilarating manner. If you're going to do it, do it with a Diggler!

The most fun standing up and on two wheels,
I love my Diggler DSK, almost as much as my dogs do. I couldnt wait to get it and get out there to ride with my furry boys and get back in shape. Its a great cross between bike and board, both of which I love so this was a no brainer. If you love skateboarding and mountain biking this is the toy for you.

It may be called a 'scooter' but my Diggler DSK handles more like a mountain bike... a mountain bike that was cross-polinated with my snowboard! I'm all for genetic mutations when it comes to toys!!! Definitely one of the cooler inventions out there. I bombed my favorite dh trail in the morning and then worked on board slides with my son at our local skatepark. There's no limit to what it can do... but my 40 years of age might be an obstacle ;)

Love My Diggler!
I love my Diggler so much that I purchased a 2nd one! One for trail riding and another electric version! Now I have the best of both worlds! Highly recommend!
