We used this to downscale a business network. They get the same speed as with their previous fixed internet service. We left the original router in place and just plugged into the WAN port of the Yeacomm. This made the changeover transparent. We have used a Google FI SIM for the test and plan to switch over to T-Mobile next week and eliminate the fixed Internet service. The initial setup issue was to get connected to the router DD-WRT server. Yeacomm's tech helped with that via their tech support email, and the rest was just like normal DD-WRT. Great device. We get very good 4G speeds which are usually faster than our measured fixed Internet speed. This is all more than adequate for video and voice. We will be getting more of these.

I build solar security camera trailers and needed a good router. I was just starting and didnt have 900 for a cradlepoint. The reviews on here looked ok so i bought one. I couldnt be happier. Only issues is cavke length for antenna. Amy adapter i get causes issues. As far a a laptoo ot runs just great but i send 1tb a day threw a cctv system on it and was very happy. Obviously it will not be lightning fast, but cameras show within 7 seconds via mobile app and around 5-8 on desktop. Keep in mind i have a 8 channel with 6 2021 IP cameras that have motor control, audio, starlight 2 way audio and @5mp per camera 24/7 recording have no issues. So happy i gave them a try

Used this hotspot out at a gate for a wireless intercom and video. The system set up easily with the insertion of a SIM card with minimal WAN configuration. I have been using this on a solar/battery system without issue, so the current draw must be reasonable. Tech support is responsive. They don't post firmware updates so you will need to ask for those files. This product is a good value.

I have been using this router in my car for the last six months. I use it as my main internet source. It's been great, easy to set up and use. I lost one of the sim trays, and customer service was easy to deal with and responsive. I love this router and having wifi wherever I am at. It runs on a wide range of voltages so it has no problem running off the car's electric system. It also handles extreme heat and cold well. I've been using Mint and ATT sim cards. I would definitely recommend.

WARNING. This device is NOT VoLTE compatible, so cell phone providers will not issue a SIM card for it. It worked to connect to the internet, but because cell companies are going to VoLTE in the future, it will quit working as soon as they do. I finally found this out after 3 hours on the phone with the cell company, and trying it to find that it works with the sim card out of my existing phone. It was explained to me that at some future date, when the tower goes to VoLTE, it will stop working, so they will NOT issue a SIM card!
