Review "Jennifer Probst has solidified herself as one of my go-to authors with this novel. To me, her writing style is reminiscent of Bella Andre or Susan Mallery, full of passion & fire, and with lighthearted moments perfectly balanced in with the serious. The way the scenes were set up, they completely wrapped me up in the emotions of each character until I could understand exactly where they were coming from. Not an easy feat to accomplish, but done outstandingly well here." (Sara Harlequin Junkie, 5 Stars Top Pick)"This romance book is nothing but perfection. 5 Stars!" LOVE NATE
Searching for Perfect by Jennifer ProbstSearching for Perfect by Jennifer Probst is the second book in her series, Searching For about the matchmaking business called Kinnections. In this novel, Kennedy, one of the owners helps Nate turn from a stereotypical geeky nerd to a hot, hot, hot, intelligent male. I loved Nate. I loved the ways Kennedy helped Nate grow and change. Ming and the other interventions made me laugh. I can’t believe what she put Nate through to help him. Although Nate does have a serious problem for a role model, his older brother who is clueless! I felt Nate made the story. And the sex scenes – seriously hot! Both Kennedy and Nate had serious issues in childhood to overcome. I felt that Jennifer Probst did a great job helping us see in the inside of each of their scarred past. I found the back-story of Kennedy heart wrenching. While that story did explain Kennedy’s reluctance to commit to a long-term relationship, I did feel her commitment issues were overdone.I loved how Jennifer Probst tied this series in with her past series (Marriage to a Billionaire) by having old and new characters meet. I enjoyed checking in on the characters from the earlier book, Searching for Someday. I think reading about Wolfe will be fun in the future.I have to admit, I am quite concerned about Kate (think that is the right name). I am worried that none of her friends have recognized that she is in danger. What ever is happening is serious and significant and has me so worried. (He best not be hurting her!)As always I couldn’t wait for the book to come out! I read it on the first day I could. Thank-you Jennifer for your books. I look forward to more of them.

Lost a few hours of sleep - a small price to pay for the latest entry in this series
The second book in the Searching for Series by Ms. Probst finds Kennedy Ashe, social director, taking on her very own Eliza Doolittle. His name is Nathan Ellison Raymond Dunkle, and he’s a rocket scientist - though he prefers aerospace engineer. When Kennedy sees Nate, he is a mess, complete with social awkwardness, unibrow, shaggy hair, rumpled/stained clothing, and orthopedic shoes. While most would see a mess, all Kennedy could see was a challenge. She saw someone who could be her greatest achievement and who was truly looking for love. Kennedy’s talent is seeing below the surface and helping a person to shine. Unfortunately she can’t see beyond her own distorted self-image to the person who deserves love.I enjoyed the Marriage series as well as the first book, Searching for Someday, so I am familiar with and have enjoyed Ms. Probst’ writing. The little ‘verse she has created has been fun to read and I like the trio of friends at the core of this series, Kate, Kennedy and Arilyn. The GoodKennedy and Nate’s connection is really impressive. I read late into the night based on their first kiss - was fantastic, and I couldn’t wait to see when Kennedy’s barriers were broken down. Kennedy and Nate really are soulmates, and I adored the fact that Ken is a nerd at heart. Nate’s could be completely oblivious and silly, but he’s not - so much of his attitude towards women was taught to him by his brother Connor, who has his own busload of commitment issues. Once Nate realized his blunders though, he was completely focused on correcting his mistakes. He was open to change, and he wanted love and he wasn’t afraid to be vulnerable to find that love. His singular focus made him a fabulous lover. Their love scenes were phenomenal, and the foodie love scene? Super sexy.Since I was enamored of their chemistry, when Kennedy started to drive Nate (and me) crazy, I was forgiving. I also appreciated that in Kennedy’s journey to a healthier lifestyle, it is clear that she has been through and will continue to need, therapy to help her accept herself and see beyond her own self-loathing. I thought that was a realistic touch that is often overlooked in romance novels and made the back and forth scenes at towards the end of the book between Nate and Kennedy much more understandable, and I loved that she was able to stand up and admit her mistakes. Eventually. The Just OkNow I really enjoyed the book, but at the same time it was that love that allowed me to look past some minor flaws. The overall storyline has some similarities to the first book, and it’s even commented on by the characters. In that respect, the Slade (the hero from the first book) and Kennedy’s commitment issues are almost identical - they’re both damaged, and she spends some time really riding the line of angst, just on the edge of annoying. The saving grace was that I liked Kennedy and I really, really liked her chemistry with Nate. Of all the things that Nate has to go through to change his approach to women, the one thing I liked least was the the collar scenes. I was torn because though it played for laughs, it wasn’t that enjoyable for me, mostly because by that time I really liked Nate and I didn’t think he deserved to be treated that way. Even for laughs. The Bottom LineI happily gave some hours of sleep to read this book and I’d do it again. It’s another great effort by Ms. Probst. I’m eager to see what’s next.

A sexy twist on My Fair Lady
Kennedy Ashe is a fierce fashionista fighting to forget her painful body image issues (check out that alliteration!) all while setting up the perfect matches at Kinnections, the matchmaking business she owns with her two best friends, Kate and Arilyn. At one fateful speed dating event, Kennedy meets a walking disaster in the form of one Nate Dunkle — an aerospace engineer with a botched self tan, limp hair, and stain covered clothing. Nate’s goal is to find a wife to spend the rest of his life with. Kennedy’s goal once she sets her eyes on the unkempt Nate is to transform him into the perfect husband. Can you say My Fair Lady? But once he is divested of his lack of style and awkward conversational skills, Nate is a hunk that gives Kennedy a run for her money. But what can she do? He’s her client and her greatest achievement…so what if he also makes her heart race.Searching for Perfect hit all my romance enthusiast buttons! I have a serious book crush on the main man, Nate. Even before he is all polished up and sporting J. Crew swag, I was half in love with the man. He has really done his homework when it comes to the ladies by reading up on what women want in Cosmo, Style, the Kama Sutra, and even with a little Fifty Shades of Grey. I mean, hello, ladies! The man is ready to give you exactly want you want, who wouldn’t love that? And holy hottness, Batman, does Nate do the sexiest things in the bedroom that I have read about in a long time (Nicely done, Probst!). All his focus and research definitely pay off. But all sex aside (I could go on and on, but don’t want to spoil it for you), Nate’s character is so sweet and charming in that sweet awkward way that I found him to be the perfect complement to Kennedy’s feisty-ness and inner struggles. From the perfect Eliza Doolittle transformation and the hot hot sex, Searching for Perfect is a book that I absolutely recommend to everyone for a sweet and steamy read. I will definitely be putting Searching for Perfect in my re-read pile! Now to read her series that precedes the Searching for books, starting with The Marriage Bargain. Thank you to Jennifer Probst for getting me really excited to read each and every book she writes.
