TROIKAConstruction Ballpoint Pen, Red (PIP20RD)

Good quality and well made. Gave one to my architect husband and my construction project manager brother for Christmas — they loved them. Also, gave one to our college-age son — over five months later, it’s still in the box. Can’t win them all! All the functions will come in handy and it writes nicely, too. Apparently, these pens are Chip Gaines’ favorite, but they were very pricey on Magnolia.com. There are several plastic knock-offs that are much cheaper, but I’m glad I stuck with the real thing.

For whatever reasons, this brand is hard to find in retail here in Singapore. I like stationery and so getting it at a price similar to what it is sold at in the western world (without the local excuse of distribution costs, rent, labour, etc jacked up prices) is highly acceptable to me. Being a Prime member, this came to me with no additional charges. It is a lovely pen, thick sturdy metal body, and I use the touch screen head a lot on my Apple iPhone. Next purchase will be the spare replacements for the touch screen stylus head.
