I bought this so that I could decant the oil from a saucepan that I used for deep frying and could therefore use the pan again. The pot just holds sufficient oil and the strainer is useful for filtering out scraps of batter etc after frying fish. It was easy to clean, served its purpose and was worth the money.However, since I purchased an air fryer I no longer deep fry food because with the air fryer there's less mess, less electricity used and little or no oil used which is healthier.

For a 2L can it is really compact and exactly what I wanted. It is a little more than I wanted to spend but well worth it.I love that it comes with an additional plate to put under the jug and also that the strainer is stored within the jug itself. The only gripe is taking the lid off to pour oil - it is a shame there is not an opening of some kind to just pour straight from the jug without having to remove the lid. However, this is much better as it keeps the oil covered at all times. It seems to be of good quality and relatively sturdy.

Bought as I've started using my wok as a deep fryer and needed something decent for filtering the oil and storing it when not required as I use my wok for normal cooking also. Wish I had one of these before now, holds more oil than it states (currently got roughly 1.5l and plenty room left) might just be I got lucky I don't know. Strainer works well and is really useful, no more cleaning my normal strainer. Definitely recommended if your using it for small batch frying in pots or woks and you can use the oil for general frying adding flavour to your oil.

Well made out of good materials. Jug pours well and the filter cleaned out all visible bits. Made clearing out the fried at each use less of a chore. I would buy this again…if I needed to.

I found this product very decent and good quality but for me price is little high for that . Apart from that amount , i am happy with the purchased . I would definitely recommend it. Many thanks

Filter is nice with very small holes that does a good job of getting out tiny particles. Easy to clean and sturdy. I have two criticisms. The first is that the lid doesn't fit terribly well and just loosely sits on top. The other is that the lid (even if it did fiy well) can't make an airtight seal. I keep the jug in the fridge and I do sometimes catch a whiff of the oil. If the lid had an airtight seal it would be perfect.

I bought with hesitance because it doesn't look like it would hold much oil. I was pleasantly surprised that not only does it hold a ton of oil, it also comes with a plate for the bottom so you won't burn your countertop and the strainer is phenomenal!! I deep-fried some lumpia and was worried I couldn't reuse the oil in the future due to some flakes and pieces in the oil. Once I poured the oil through the strainer even the tiniest specks of flake were on the strainer and the oil was clean as can be. There are lips and handles so there no way for you to get burned or touch anything hot. Whoever designed it was definitely on the money. It is affordable, useful, and well-crafted. I would definitely recommend it!!
