Q: My kitchen too small for a toaster, can I use this to toast a single piece of bread on my gas stove top? How long it take on med. flame?

First, we love this thing.. We make perfect grilled sandwiches every time. It takes about 5 minutes.I've never done just 1 piece of bread. It works on both gas or electric stove.

Q: I have an electric smooth top stove; will this work on that?

Yes it will. Just make sure you don't set it to high. medium or lower temp always works well.

Q: Is it possible to make omelette in this?

I cook eggs and chees in it all the time, I have not tried an omelette but I will very soon. I am sure it would work although it would not be very large. Also it makes fast and great grilled cheese sandwiches.
