10/10 Recommend
A standing desk is a GAME CHANGER! It's easy to build, looks very professional and sleek. The size is depictured correctly, it's very stable and functional.

I would recommend
Easy to install and suits my needs as someone with back issues. I wish it were a bit larger at times, but for the size of my desk it is perfect. I would not change anything.

Game Changer
Having the option to stand when I have “desk-days” at work is an absolute joy. This particular desk addition only takes about 5 minutes to set up and is incredibly easy to operate. Complete with a set of zip-ties for securing wires, my only complaint is that the wire ports are much too small for most computer power cords.

Great size: both height and work areas.
Being 6'-5", I opted for the GPackPro as it's specs listed it as one of the tallest maximum height units. I've used it 5 days a week for some time now. It is solid, easy to adjust, all around is an exceptionally solid value for the price. I highly recommend it. In my office a large number of people have a variety of brands and styles, just today I was assisting a coworker at his computer where he has a similarly hinged unit but from Varidesk, my GPack has a noticeably stouter feeling surface, his varidesk appears delicate and petite in comparison, even if they both can take the same weight and loads. the GPack has more room for the mouse, keyboard, and work surface for papers, etc. If they were priced the same, i would chose the GPack anyway. In my opinion, the best benefit of this model is the generous work surface area. The largest complaint I hear from other coworkers with other sit-stand desktop units is about their limited room to lay out 11x17 engineering documents. The large size of the G-PACK is absolutely perfect for what I do. I am able to lay out two 11x17 hardcopies across my surface while standing and have room to the left of my keyboard for my cell(music) and ample room for my mouse / keyboard / monitors / etc. It came with an adhesive backed tie for cable management and zip ties, I didn't use them, haven't a need for them, so far I have yet to pinch any cables or wires. All around would buy again without hesitation 9.8/10.Only reservation: a few times the shock locks will "snap into place" with a large audible metallic noise right after being raised up if a little downward pressure is applied once at its maximum height. It does not seem to make this when locked at any infinitely chosen level below the absolute maximum height. I fear the shocks or locks may wear out in a few years of daily use. if they eventually do fail i will be looking to upgrade them rather than replacing them with OE parts, ...but compared to the other options on the market I would still buy again without pause.Only wishlist: If only it went just 1"-2" higher it would be superb, 3" and I would be awe struck at owning a product I didn't always have to set to the tallest setting. Every time i go shopping for clothes, shoes, sports cars, etc, I am reminded however where my height lands on the bell curve of humans... The next tallest option I could find was substantially more expensive, so for the value i consider it a great buy, would recommend (and have!) to anyone considering a sit-stand desk converter.

Excellent!
First off, I'm 6'4" tall. I wanted to start with that, because it was difficult to find a converter that would rise high enough and I struggled to find reviews from tall people. If I use a slightly wide stance, this converter gets just high enough that I can use the keyboard tray with my arms at a 90 degree angle. Standing straight up, I simply place the keyboard onto the large desk area to obtain the 90 degree angle. Either way works fine and I enjoy moving between the 2 stances anyway. Sitting down with the converter in the lowest position, it provides more than enough height and I'm very comfortable while sitting. Now onto the full review...I just set up the G-Pack Standing Desk Converter and it is fantastic! I did a lot of research before finally settling on this model (as compared to similar brands). This converter weighs over 50lbs, so its very stable. The heavy weight was important to me, because I was worried that some of the lighter 30lb models might be unstable. It also offers a very large desk space and the keyboard tray attachment is great! Plenty of room on the keyboard tray for my keyboard and mouse. The tray is non-adjustable, but works fine for me. The converter is very sturdy and easily holds my 2 HP E242 (24") monitors.Based off of other reviews, I also bought the heavy duty VIVO Dual LCD Monitor stand and it works great with this converter. Saves a ton of desk space and allows you to easily adjust the angle of your monitors. I compared this converter to other more expensive brands, but the G-Pack offered all of the same qualities and features at half the cost. Even with it raised to maximum height, it is very stable. However, the more weight you place on the desk, the harder it is to raise, so keep that in mind. I don't have any issue with it, but a smaller person might struggle if the desk is loaded down. Each of my monitors weighs 9.25lbs and the Vivo monitor stand weighs 9lbs. That's just about 28lbs total. If I'm not mistaken, the weight limit for this desk is 38lbs, so keep that in mind if you have larger monitors or wish to place a bunch of stuff on the desk. Otherwise, I can't recommend this converter enough!
