Slicker Brush for Dogs, Dog Grooming Supplies - Best Doodle & Poodle Brush fo...

I’m a professional dog groomer and I’ve been using Chris Christiansen brushes for years ($80 brushes and I have multiple). This is definitely comparable, I bought this for my mom to use on her Pomeranian and I was shocked, it’s amazing for deshedding and detangling! I like that the bristles aren’t too soft so it gets down to the skin easily. I’ll be ordering the larger size for my work. If you’re considering this brush for ANY long hair breed, GET IT! The price is right for the quality (again, I’m comparing this to an $80 brush). Also for my doodle people that are seeing this, if your dog is big or gonna be big, save yourself the time and get the large one and stop complaining about prices please! You paid thousands for an extremely high maintenance mutt and complain about a $30 brush? It’s crazy to me and I hear it everyday. Anyways, GET THE BRUSH AND USE IT EVERYDAY!

Good quality brush. I really like using it.

This is the best brush I have tried for my maltipoo. It is gentle but gets down to the skin and leaves her hair sooo soft and fluffy. Even though it is hard to get through the first strokes and feels like it is pulling she seems to love it. Makes grooming a breeze and she likes it so much better than the comb.

Good slicker for a poodle. Easy to use, easy to clean, good value.

It works great we have a bichon mix and it keeps her from getting matted.

Great brush ease to use

This brush is not appropriate for all doodles . The teeth are extra long so and hurts my doodle. The bush is small so ng for larger dogs.

Good but I don't think excellent unfortunately. So wanted to love this product due to good reviews and higher price. Prongs are sharp and seem abit evil. My Cavapoo is brushed daily so difficulty getting through the coat is not due to excessive tangles. I use a comb afterwards too. Have now started using a detangling spray as suggested somewhere.

Excuse the lazy boy photos! I purchased this brush after it was recommended by a social media personality , girlwithadoodle. I have tried three kinds of brushes. The first scratched my dog, the second broke and the third did not break through his curls. This brush is amazing. It takes out small tangles, pulls out loose hair, gives my boy a nice fuzzy coat, and is effortless to use. No pulling needed on my part! Highly recommend! For reference my Labradoodle is 65lb. He is an F1b and has a very curly coat. He is groomed every 8 weeks and we keep him a bit longer especially in the winter. First pic is before brushing. Second is after.

We bought several brushes along the way, mainly because I ignored the old adage, "buy it nice or buy it twice". I didn't want to spend the money but we ended up spending more first before finally getting this brush.

Worked well on long curly coat .It's longer bristles are beneficial.
