Delavier's Core Training Anatomy

Detail oriented
I purchased the original strength training anatomy years ago. It was such a great training guide, I handed out numerous copies to friends in the gym. I am not a bodybuilder, but a triathlete. This book was truly an asset in competing.I purchased this newer book and it is a great compliment to the strength training anatomy book. This is the two best books on the market for anyone serious about their training and health. Already tweaked some routines for core strength and have realized results.

Sane and Safe way to Core.
I am 61 years young and have been a Personal Trainer since 2009. Books like this give a complete and comprehensive Step By Step way to a Life long solid Core. Forget Fads like Crossfit etc.......this book has superb diagrams, photos, and explanations to with reasons why the body needs the core to enhance All other physical activities. My clients and I spend months first developing a Core Before we proceed to Bodysculpting or their sport specific needs. Do what this book says with discipline and consistency and you will get safe, long lasting Results.

Good book, LOTS of helpful pictures.
This book only tell you how to do ur abs in type words, it also has pictures. Very easy to understand what u r doing. It starts letting you know what the basic stuff about abs, something like the type of fat around ur abs, blah blah blah. And then once you know what kind of body type u have, then you can find your body type of abs workout. It has a lot to offer, I highly recommend this book, it's very helpful.

Great book. Started using this already having very good ...
Great book. Started using this already having very good strength in the middle body. The beginning exercises are excellent, and probably the only thing most people need. It throws out a lot of unnecessary exercises, and keeps the effective ones. it especially shows how to work the lower abs well. Just doing the beginning program, with total focus, for three weeks, increased my strength, and "looks." Good illustrations showing the muscles, etc.The only thing that could be better would giving exercises that strengthen the back, to balance out all of that spinal flexing, which the book suggests to do. Recommended.

worth it.
this book is perfect for any person wanting a six pack. It shows basic exercises that can get you a six pack and understand how your muscles work. I have been using the routines for a while and seen a difference in aesthetics. I now do greg plitt exercises for now... but when i change or cycle workouts i may go back and use delavier's methods for a shock. Its mostly volume work for a handful of exercises and progressive work, but it makes sense if you do not like to use weights and machines to do abs.
