Mine wasn’t warped to the point if having to hear the opening. It slipped right in. The leak on my skidoo definitely slowed down but still leaks some. Was worth it for that but might look for a thicker oring or other solution.

Great repair for leaking oil tank cap.
Great repair for a oil fill neck that has been twisted/distorted. I used a heat gun on low setting just enough to warm the tank neck and then it slid right into place. Stopped oil leak from making a mess of the engine compartment.

Keeps my cap tight again.
Seems to do the trick. Little o-ring squashes out though as there is no groove to retain it. I through mine away rather than risking it going into oil tank.
