Very substantial and difficult to cut.
Sadly, I was only 1/2 inch shy and getting the original slip-joint that came with my bottle trap to attack to the sink drain. So I had to cut a lot of this off, but in the end it worked, so I guess that is the price of learn-as-you-go DIYing.

Not oil rubbed bronze
The color is not oil rubbed bronze at all, does not match the rest of my piping. Bottom part of my picture is oil rubbed bronze. The piece above that is this.
