Q: Is the product made to be outside when it rains?? I saw in the video and listed in the "tips" to protect the cord and vent from water.

Yes. It has a cover molded into the vent that will keep rain out(as long as it’s not sitting in a puddle!!!!). If you have snow you need to clear it away from the vent. I put the plug attached to an extension cord in a ziplock bag and pull the two cords together to have as small an opening as possible for water to get in. It is necessary to check the vent and cord connection often. This Christmas inflatable is really amazing outside at night. Pretty cool during the day too!

Q: Can it run 24/7?how many wats is it using?

It can run 24/7 but I don’t leave mine that long. I run mine from sundown to sun up and repeat
