Hisense 50-Inch Class R6 Series 4K UHD Smart Roku TV with Alexa Compatibility, Dolby Vision HDR, DTS Studio Sound, Game Mode (50R6G),Black

I've been using this TV for a little over two months and we love it. It's the best Roku TV we have ever had and the price was absolutely unbelievable.In the past our Roku TVs (usually TCL Roku TV's) have been glitchy and it just gets annoying. They would have issues with sound and volume on certain apps, Hulu was the worst. We could have our old TV with the volume maxed and we could still barely hear our shows (but if an ad came on it blew our eardrums out.) With Disney+ it would crash constantly to the point we just didn't use that app on our main floor TV. Fortunately this TV does not do that. The sound system is great, the display is great, and it works well with all of our streaming apps. It was also extremely simple to set up and add all of our streaming channels to it.

It's amazing how much TVs have improved across the board over the past 5 years. This is especially true of budget TVs because many of the features that were only found in upper level, premium units such as Dolby vision, HDR and dts sound have migrated down to their cheaper siblings. After a ton of research, I purchased the 50 inch Hisense R6 and mounted it to my bedroom wall. When it comes to performance, I have zero regrets. Sure, it's not as vibrant as my 65 inch OLED that I have in my family room, or loaded with features such as Filmmaker mode and Bluetooth, but it's a huge improvement over the 43 inch plasma TV it replaced.With a bit of tweaking, I was able to get the color adjusted to my preference. Now I understand that everyone is different, but the following adjustments is what I found to be the best for me:TV brightness: BrighterPicture mode: StandardUnder "Customized picture"Backlight: 100Brightness: 55Contrast: 100Sharpness: 10Color: 40Tint: -5Under "Expert settings:Dynamic contrast: offNoise reduction: LowColor temperature: NormalAuto setting: StandardGamma correction: 2.2Under sound mode: TheaterBe aware that HDR content has to be separately adjusted... Again, keep in mind these are the adjustments that work best for me. I would encourage you to experiment with tweaking the TV because you will most likely not be satisfied with the default settings that come out of the box... You'll notice that I have not taken the time to comment on the specs of the TV because that type of information can easily be found online and YouTube. Suffice to say that a better TV for the money just doesn't exist - at least for the time being. The Hisense R6 is well built, the baked in Roku operating system is fantastic and the asking price is remarkable. Can you get a better TV if you're willing to pay a lot more? Of course, but I think that vast majority who buy the Hisense R6 are going to be perfectly satisfied with the video quality of this TV.One last thing as a side note, if your TV (or anything else you buy on Amazon for that matter) is delivered damaged, get in touch with Amazon who will most likely replace it - Nothing is more annoying than to see somebody post a 1 star review for a delivery/shipment situation that has absolutely NOTHING directly to do with a product or its performance. Just saying!

Great value for the price point. I paid about 250 for this unit and am totally happy with the size and resolution of the unit. It is very large and the display is UHD as promised in specs. I am happy both with the picture quality as well as the sound output. For the price I paid, I am very happy with the results of the product. I replaced a smaller 43 inch model which seemed to go bad (TCL) and this seems to live up to the description in the item details. This is highly recommended for the size and resolution. Do not pay thousands. This model is the best for the money. Very happy with purchase. Roku apps work well and resolution is as stated in description. Highly recommend this product.

Quality tv at a good price

This product (TV) by Hisense only lasted a little over 2 years (Bought March of 2023). Screen went blank tried all the suggested checks that were suggested, nothing worked. I have now tried to by a TCL model through Prime and that now has been lost during shipping from the 'Warehouse Amazon' 7775 Maslin Street Windermere, Florida. Frustration is not a word I can use during this fascial that doesn't seem to have anyone in Prime customer service checking the Amazon warehouse or with UPS, who Prime used as the shipper for my 55 inch TV.

We love this TV it is on the lighter side. The picture is very clear. We have had no problems with it. It was packaged very well when it arrived. Very pleased with this TV.

The TV arrived in a timely manner, before the due date. I bought this one for the LR bc I liked the one we'd previously gotten for the other room.
