It bent after the first use, very disappointed

I got tired of using a knife to cut my CP soaps. So, I thought I would give this one a try. I love it so far! Its heavy duty so you can push as hard as you want into your soap. The cuts are so nice and clean. One sides blade is completely flush and one side is raised a bit with the handles. As long as you don't cut super long bars, you will have no problem. If you are looking for a nice soap cutter, I highly recommend this one!

This is a good soap cutter, but I wish it were a bit sturdier. I occasionally end up with soap slightly bowed in or out, but that has been true with all of the soap cutters I have had. I am happy with this purchase, none the less.

I have nothing bad to say about this soap cutter. It's the only one I have and I am still very new at soap making. But, this has served its purpose well.The blade is even and thin, so it cuts clean and easily, with just a small amount of pressure. The cutter is assembled well, with nothing loose. I've cut through 50+ bars without an issue and some of the soap loaves were very hard, so I had to press firmly.I'd recommend this for any soap maker.

I used a putty knife for a long time, to cut soap. I was glad to find this soap cutter at a wonderful price. Its made of a very sturdy metal and cuts through the soap very well. The wooden handle is the right size for gripping it and pushing it through the soap. The putty knife was just so so, but this makes the job a whole lot easier. I am very pleased with how well this has worked.

You would really have to buy from a horrible dealer to go wrong with one of these things lol. I dont use molds that you cut while soap is still inside the mold so I cannot say how these fair in those situations - but I would assume that is really what they were made for? I use them for cold processing soap - have not had any problems.Purchased from: Life of the Party

This cutter is just as pictured. Sadly I can not recommend it and need to buy a different one for my soap making needs. This cutter is not overly wide and if you ever hope to use it to cut a loaf of soap in half length wise the extra metal on each end of the blade makes big, unattractive marks in the soap. There are other cutters out there that are a smooth blade without this.

Well, after cutting about a dozen pieces of soap that weren't fully cured (therefore fairly soft) this has warped & is no longer usable. Save your money & find a stronger cutter if you plan to use this for more than just a few pieces of soap.
