Clairol Professional Shimmer Lights Violet Toning Mask for Neutralizing Brassy Tones with Refreshing Blonde Hair Results

Salon visits have gotten really expensive where I live, so I switched to a blonding shampoo and conditioner combo. It works really well, but can make my hair a little brassy after awhile. I started using these once every two weeks or so, and they really help tone down the yellow and bring out a brighter ashy blonde. It makes my hair feel really smooth, too.

Works well! I'm a natural brunette. I've been coloring my hair blonde for years. I haven't colored my hair in months until recently. So, I had a decent amount of brunette back. I don't bleach my hair due it making my hair dry and brittle. I bought blonde hair dye and purchased this mask to use as a toner. I'm glad I did. After coloring my brunette hair blonde, as expected my hair was orange (brass) I used this mask immediately after coloring, I no longer have any brass in my hair After ONE use! It does exactly what it says it does. I will be purchasing this every time I color my hair. The directions say to leave it in for 5 minutes. I am happy with the results. I highly recommend this. Especially if you're like me and don't want to use harsh bleach in your hair.I should have took before and after pictures. I was very surprised it worked so well. I have tried other products and got not so good results. This will definitely be my go to product from now on.... I love that it made my hair feel so soft and hydrated afterwards as well. I usually have tangles even after using most conditioners, it wasn't tangled at all after using this. It has a mild scent but a pleasant one.Update.. I have used this for a second time and my hair is even lighter. (Which was what I wanted) I am now purchasing the bigger bottle for future use.

This stuff is amazing, I bleach my natural level 4 hair to a 7 or 8. It tends to get brassy and this works so well. I like to put it on dry hair and leave it on for a couple of hours. It's a conditioner so it helps my hair while also toning it. For only $10, I highly and truly recommend it. I left it on my hair for 3.5 to 4 hours and look at the difference.

I have low and highlights just in front snd sides of my hair, it can get a bit brassy after a couple months. Decided to give this a try, worked well. I just put where I needed it , not all over head. Lift on for recommended time, washed out. Looks much better. Made my hair smooth and easy to style.

Shimmery hair, soft an conditioned but I only left it on for a minute an thoroughly rinsed an my hair had a light lavender tint! I'll use it again but will cut it with conditioner.

I had ginger hair before it started turning grey and now it's snow white. Because of the golden and red undertones of my normal original hair color, it tends to look brassy and yellowish very soon after toning. I can't afford to see my stylist every other week (who'd want to anyway) so I use the Shimmer Lights shampoo and mask 2-3 times a week. Takes all the yellow out and I use it on my extensions as well as they always come in looking golden blond and I have to tone them before installation anyway. Highly recommend.

One of the few purple products I can see a difference with. Good price too. I leave on for longer than recommended and it leaves my hair soft and ashy
