Wicked sharp and long length are awesome can't go wrong.
Awesome tool. Was hesitant to purchase such a long saw, took it to trim and cut down some misquite trees in Mexico. The lond blade allow you to reach further into the tree for cutting, helpful when the branches are covered in thorns. Also helpful since you dont have to lean down to hook branches with the tip to pick them up without getting pricked. Wicked sharp, cut those small branches like butter and the big ones with a few stroked and minimal effort. Yeah its expensive, if you can somehow justify it its worth the price.

Fast Cutting
This thing cuts fast and feels good to use. I have their axe as well and both are quality pieces.

This saw should be in everyone's kit.
This saw is awesome. It folds up into a nice, compact size and is easy to store. The blade is extremely sharp and holds an edge. I keep this in my truck for times in the woods, camping, or any occasion I need to trim a branch or clear debris and I don't want to hassle with the chainsaw.

A quite capable tool
This is an amazing tool! I have some smaller ones of different brands, and they do well too but had a job to do today with a decent sized tree in the way, maybe about 5", and in probably 2-3 minutes, the problem was solved! I was quite impressed with the ease of use and just how quickly it got the job done. This saw is not cheap, but for bigger jobs, it, in my opinion is what is required to take down trees instead of just saplings or branches. It is not going to replace a chain saw, but for something I can toss in my camping/hiking gear, or even my vehicle, it is certainly nice to have!

Works for me
Cuts like a champ with a nice weight. Perfect fit inside a pack for ease of carry and transport. Well built and a great value. Replacement blades are available in case you need them or want to change the type of wood for your location. 2 types of locking angles allow you to choose a more comfortable cutting experience. In my opinion it's very utilitarian.

Yank it with Caution
The Silky Bigboy has me working my wood, like a professional. It’s a little slow at first, but it rips harder than my granddad's farts.

I got this mainly for trail maintenance for clearing fallen over logs, and it's amazing for that. Some of the negative reviews point out that it's brittle and breaks easily, and that's a valid point, but 99% of the time that's on the user. Anything can be broken. Sorry but you can't have it both ways: the reason it is so efficient at cutting is because it's thin with incredibly well engineered teeth and ergonomics. If you mess up yes, it will break. As long as you plan your cut and don't get it jammed / bent on the push stroke you should be fine. It will cut through something the size of my thigh in under a minute which is phenomenal. For anything under load you need to cut from the unloading side (or both sides with partial on the side under tension). The only negative for me, is that it doesn't come with a proper sheath and that the provided pouch doesn't have a belt hoop. I had a smaller one (same brand) that I managed to break a while back, so I am using it's plastic hard sheath to carry this one around for trail clearing. That was 100% on me being stupid and it broke after ~3 years of abuse. As far as quality of the product I would rate it 5/5. The handle, blade, folding and 2 cutting position settings are all great. If you plan every cut properly and respect the blade, it will serve you for years!

I used this yesterday for the first time on a half dead large pollard ash that is guess what dying back. Its quite a tough wood and this sharp saw did a pretty good job. I wish i had gone for a slightly longer reach saw for this task but they are twice the price and i would have got a lot less use out of it. So yes I am pleased that i was able to trial the saw on a tricky bob. I will be reaching for the chainsaw next week though for the larger limbs as there are limits to the diameter i can cut through without getting tired out. i.e. the limitation is me not this lovely saw.
