Great antenna. Improved signal and extra channels to boot.
We bought the Televes DAT BOSS MIX LR antenna to replace a RadioShack VU-1902XR antenna that we had for many years. The RadioShack antenna, like all of us, slowly degraded with time. There was a gradual, imperceptible decrease in reception which led to some channels starting to pixelate. The Televes antenna came as multiple parts and pieces that were very well packed but looked intimidating. However, the included instructions were very clear and easy to follow. Once installed and after a channel scan our signal strength had improved and we even got more channel than we previously had. The broadcast towers where we live are approximately 65 miles away and there are some hills in between. We are completely satisfied with this purchase and would recommend it.

Great Antenna.
This is the best of the Best for clear and distant channels. I read that the build-up out of the box was tough. Not so. Just take your time. I built up and installed it in less than 2 hours. I live 45 miles from Portland Oregon. In the rolling Coast range. I am not at the top of one of the hills. So I have tried other antennae. They failed badly. But,this 149884 did the trick. Runs both my TV sets with 24 channels. My others would only pick up 6 to 8.The PSU was super easy to get setup. All good. The price was a bit spendy but well worth it.I will be buting another for my Mt cabin soon as weather breaks in the spring. Side note. I replaced ALL 75 ohm with Heavy RG-6. Should last for years. SO CUT THE CABLE and save on Streaming.

Crystal Clear Picture
Mounted this at the peak of our two-story house and pointed it SE. Picked up all the local channels crystal clear. It additionally pick up some faraway NY stations, due east of us. This is a fantastic antenna.

Good product and GREAT Customer Service
The antenna does what is advertised. Most local channels come in pretty clean. I am satisfied with the product, but even more impressed with their customer service. As I was installing the antenna in a tight area of the attic, I moved the antenna around and one of the elements got caught in one of the trusses and broke off. I contacted Televes to try and purchase a replacement element. I had one delivered to my door in two days free of charge. That is excellent customer service. I will continue buying their products and highly recommend Televes.

Easy set up and it works great
I’ve been contemplating getting a TV antenna for years. The last straw was YouTube TV’s dispute with Disney/ABC. The Televes DATBOSS solved my problem. Easy to assemble (take your time as there are a lot of pieces) if you follow the instructions. All I had to do was point it in the general direction of the local towers and BANG, I got 162 channels. I’d heard that picture quality was good, but was still surprised at how bright and clear the image is. I paired with Tablo TV so I can record and share the one connection with multiple TVs.

Top quality antenna, but it can't overcome mountains
Although better separates are available, this combination of low noise TForce preamplifier and high gain UHF antenna may be hard to beat in a single integrated design. The high VHF portion is only basic in design, however. Although claimed to be repack optimized, it could not help me pull in my UHF stations from RF 31 to 36. Although my TV transmitters are no more than 5 miles from me, the intervening mountain was too much for it to overcome. YMMV.

Perfect for eliminating cable!
This wasn’t the easiest to install, but we found a video online and once it was up and oriented correctly, we got lots of channels and great reception. This is a welcome reprieve to the current cost of cable. The picture quality is good 95% of the time. When we have had a windy storm, the broadcast is occasionally interrupted with static.

The Antenna performs very well so far. My location is behind tall trees that never allowed me to have a steady signal. This unit pulled off the channels I was expecting. Once I powered up the amp, the channels' signal level improved exponentially. Beside the unit complexity, it was easy to assemble. The bad part is that it is very directional and I will need a second unit to receive the channels located within 45 deg from the main direction. I expected that after having the same issues with all the previous antennas I had tried. I would recommend this antenna if the stations are located in a 40 mile range, and there are obstacles between the location and the TV tower.

I just set up my new Televes LR Mix. Most of the channels I was picking up now has a stronger signal strength, there’s one channel that’s was iffy to begin with that I lost completely. This is because this antenna has a more narrow beam width as my former antenna. On the other end, I’m now picking up a channel I have no business picking up. The only other disappointing situation is that I wasn’t able to receive Fox from Buffalo when I technically should be able to pick it up, but it was a long shot at about 75 miles away and a bunch of ridges in the way. I would 100% buy this antenna again, but someone in Canada should get a supply of them, because having the supplier for Canada in the USA drives up the cost. Base price of the antenna $256 Then shipping from USA to Canada $84 Then there are duty charges of about $125. UPS got about the same price of the antenna in shipping costs. Ridiculous. UPDATE: Since the leaves have fallen off the trees that I had surrounding my house my signal has improved. I was already impressed by the power of this antenna, but seeing what it can do when it has a clearer sight to the transmitter make me really appreciate the work it does to provide a stable signal through trees hampering the signal.

Best antenna I have purchased. Picking up stations 50 miles away continuously. I am able to get all US networks for free.

After tracing down my Purolator package , without zero help from Purolater Sntenns was finally picked up miles from delivery location However thankfully products high level quality made purchase worth it . It’s large but light and balanced . On roof not very high . On first test it had perfect reception of the same amount of stations found on my previous one ( but HD ) . Next day with a compass I repointed it to farthest stations and wow. Double the stations all perfect. Precisely point it snd it’s amazing.
