Yes, it may seem a little pricey, but this turned out to be a really sturdy and highly packable change mat. This is intended for use when tri season starts up again, so I've been trying it out at the gym as an after-shower change mat. The nice thing about it is the rubberized padding underneath; easy to identify the bottom and it can be folded into thirds, keeping the dirty bottom side against itself for quick packing up right back into the gym bag. I know, I'm weird like that, but it's a quality product that fits the bill for what it's designed for.

Being a perennial kayaker, I am regularly getting changed into/out of kayak gear in remote locations, and having somewhere to stand that is dry, flat and not muddy is a rarity. This is where the KitBrix mat comes in. It arrived neatly rolled up into a tube with a Velcro loop fastener is is sized 49 cm x 39 cm when rolled out. It is also quite thin at 2mm. With a rubberised back and a soft material upper, it will be perfect for the said transition phases for triathlons or for swimmers. For a kayaker, with a lot of bulky kit to put on or remove (boots, wetsuit, cag, deck etc) it is a little small for me - having said that, it does offer good protection for feet and is much better that standing on cold, wet tarmac or grass. It is easy to clean and very portable (not taking up so much space). If they made a larger version of this it would be even better.

We live on the coast so a lot of time is spent on the beach and in the sea. We have a pebble beach here and this KitBrix changing mat is just the right size to toss into my kit bag and provides a bit of personal drying space ... and a bit more comfortable too. Easy to wash and dry and it have been used at least 20 times this year.

I've been using it in my gym when I take a shower there. It's a very good mat, anti-slip, and easy to clean. For sure I'll bring it on my next running race as it makes changing a lot easier. It can be stored rolled to save space.
