Excellent hand lenses for geological or jewellery use. However, they do require knowledge of how to use such lenses; the distance between eye and lens and lens and object must both be short.

You get two items here. The fold out one is excellent as it has different magnifications and good illumination. Had a similar one before so happy with this. The other pull out magnifier is good but seems a bit more delicate. I took out the cells and refitted them and now it's working fine. That'll have it's uses too. All in all worth the money.

Very handy with the light! Is exactly as strong as it should be and the vision though it is perfect. Very good for a quick look into something as it fits right into your fingers.

I would have been quite happy with the bulkier of the two items, the one that looks like an old-fashioned jeweller's glass. Both are good but the one I was after is amazing. I Wanted to study old coins in some detail. Job done. Quite spectacular. You can illuminate them if you wish -even UV on the flat one! Beware, lights are VERY bright. don't do what I just did - still seeing spots! :) Money well spent. Incidentally, not quite sure what "sheerness" is but gave full marks as I cannot fault these items.

The standard eye piece is the perfect size for your pocket, bright LEDs make it easy to see detail in both lenses which are clear and a good magnification. Simply switch the switch to turn the lights on or off on either lens you are using so it's super easy. The second pull out magnifier broke immediately and the light refused to come on. Still functions as an eye glass but it's performance isn't as good without the light as the other one in the bundle. Both are super easy to use.

Torch on one of the items wouldn't work, tried new batteries and checked connection. Still nothing. Okay as magnifying glass

The delivery was quick and products arrived intact. The smaller eye piece is hard to maneuver at first but once you become accustomed to it, it is really easy to use. The product allows me to use the loop to see the fine details of my flowers and to determine the best time to cultivate based on the maturity of the flowers. Excellent piece, must have for cannabis gardeners in Canada. The lights attached are good and work well. For those of us with larger hands, these small pieces can be difficult to handle but once done, they are a great tool. Price is good for the quality, the smaller frame is made of metal and not plastic so it should be more robust and able to handle more bumps etc…
