Initial Review - will update
I wanted to try this out for 2 reasons: it's cheaper than most other water washable resins, and it says it's fast. Figured if it didn't work, it was at least trying in case it did. I have tried several water washable resins so far, and my favorite has been the NOVA3D water washable white. Used quite a bit of it and didn't have any major failures with it, and it printed really well. What this means is that I have a resin that is currently my go to when I don't want to test out new ones that works really well, and have a really good product to compare to.What are my thoughts on this Super Fast? I really like it! I cranked the settings all the way down on my Anycubic Photon Mono 2k. .6s layer cure, 5s base cure, .2 off time, and slower lift speed (2) with a higher lift (10mm), and faster lower speed (4). This has cut my print time in half from the NOVA3D (and almost 1/3 of the time for the Elegoo that I tried and did NOT like). After two prints with it, the details are on par with the NOVA, and am working on the third print right now. In the pictures, I am printing the Gorjira model from the Lord of the Print Patreon, and the white piece is the NOVA3D. The gray pieces are the 3DMaterials fast print. Other than color, I can't really see any difference in the quality, and it DOES print fast. The first arm took about 2 hours to print, and the tail and other arm took 6 (which would have taken around 12 with the NOVA).If I start having massive failures with this, which I am not currently anticipating, I will come back and adjust my review. So far, though, I am exceptionally impressed with it and might have found my new favorite resin!5/22/21 - An update to my review - So, I had a few failures. Couldn't figure out what the problem was until the LCD completely died. Replaced that, and I'm now successfully printing again! Completed the Lord of the Print Gojira print, and have now had around 9 successful prints since the LCD failed. If you find you're having issues with your prints being too brittle after you are done, make sure you check your cure time. I have dropped pieces on the floor and only lost the thinnest of bits, for instance the tip of a feather on one piece of a model, and a whisker on another piece. If you have a more powerful printer, like the Mono X, you have to make sure you dial down the UV intensity so that you don't cause problems. I have the Mono 2k, and I have my settings at 6s for the base, and .6s for the normal layers (50nm thickness), and I cure the smaller parts for around 3 minutes in the cure station, and around 7 minutes for larger pieces. If you go above those any, it will become brittle and you will lose detail from shrinkage.Final update - 6/10/21 - Had a few more failures, but turns out they weren't the resin's fault. One was the placement of the piece in relation to the holes that were hollowed out, and one was due to the failure of the adhesive for the magnetic build plate that I had installed. I'm still thoroughly happy with the quality of the prints, and continue to make outstanding stuff with it. Just about needing my fourth bottle of it!

Love this resin!
Ok, so I started with 3d Materials a few years ago, after the sample resin that came with my Creality printer ran out. Over the past year, along with this 4k, I have used their 8k resin as well. I have also used resins (water washable and not) from three other manufacturers.Hands down 3d Materials is the better resin. Their Superfast 4k & 8k are extremely low odor, to the point that if I am just running the powered carbon filter in my Saturn 2, it is almost impossible to notice. When I used any of the three other mainstream brands, I ended up having to move my printer to a space in the garage. With odor out of the way, lets talk about "Superfast" and what actual speeds you can print at. With mainstream resins, you are laying your first layers down at 20 seconds a layer and your model layers in the 2.5 second range. With 3d Materials, I am constantly doing my initial layers at 2.8ish seconds and my model layers take less the 0.8 seconds. Yes you did read that correctly, model curing layers at less than a second. Depending on your machine, down as low as half a second. What about the quality? You do not sacrifice any quality for this speed. Models look great and print in a fraction of the time.

Great resin for the price
I've gone through several bottles (5 full and part of a 6th) of this product and can still hardly believe it works as well as it does for the price point. The lighter grey color is my favorite so far versus a darker grey, black and amber I've tried, but it's purely personal preference. All the varieties have worked as claimed. Having printed everything from figures to architectural models, this resin performs extremely well, albeit a bit on the brittle side but no worse than anything else. I've worked up some personal additives that help in this department, but for the price, I will continue to use it and enjoy the great results its capable of. I believe it's fully capable of the claimed layer cure times, but in the interest of having consistent prints and going a little easier on my machine, I've stayed at 1.6 second layer exposures on a finely tuned MSLA machine. Using well-prepped flex build plates cured any adhesion issues I had early on, which after giving the plates a 60grit sanding and religious soaking in IPA between prints, I haven't had a print fail that wasn't due to a defect in the model since. It definitely makes you want a larger build plate, but then you'll want this stuff by the gallon versus a liter! If 3D Materials wants a tester for a more impact resilient product line, I would certainly oblige them my testing notes and some wants/needs for future product lines.

Great Resin, Superfast Gray
I've been fighting with Matterhackers Build Resin for 3 miserable months - adhesion issues, cure issues, now the parts sweat catalyst, a nightmare. I haven't had a success in that time. 3DMaterials was recommended to me for a resin that "just works".This resin worked instantly and near perfectly. I had to adjust my settings slightly and now BAM, no problems on a Mono X. Beautiful prints. I print larger models with bold details so I can't speak to small, fiddly details. I ran a resin test/calibration print a couple times and the small features looked good to me so that's my best input on detail-work.Resin is low odor, is printing well in our quite cold house. Surface feel after curing isn't as "silky" as some resins I've used but this isn't a detractor, merely an observation. Surface finish is a little matte.Customer support has also been truly excellent (in stark contrast to my experience w/ MH). Due to a logistics issue with amazon, I was sent an expired bottle of the wrong resin. It was handled overnight and I was sent a replacement. Support was professional, kind, and quick.

Buen acabado, poquisimo olor

Very good and cheap resin
This resin prints faster than the others i used, like anycubic grey or esun green. It makes good detailed prints, and needs less power of the uv-light.At first i got residue on the bottom of the vat, but as they discribe, just lower printtimes of first layers and maybe lower uv-strenght.The clear is very clear, and with 2 minutes of curing it is still more white than other clear resins i tried, that would become more yellowish.I really want to try other stuf from them, like the superPP, its just a shame they are so hard to find.
