Columbia Women's Bahama Short Sleeve Shirt

I always prefer men's shirts because they are longer in length and have bigger pockets. Unfortunately, for me, the Columbia Bahama men's shirts are just huge! Even the men's size XS was huge. So, I bought this in a small and was pleased to see that both the length and pockets are bigger than most women's shirts. The shirt is great. Cool, light weight, easy to care for, dries quickly and BRIGHT colors!The Bahama is a different (heavier) material than the Tamiami II but still a great option for hot summers.Also, as others mentioned, this is NOT red as pictured, but Bright Rose color (I would call it hot pink). I ride a recumbent trike, so I wanted a very visible shirt and this certainly fits the bill. I haven't had a chance to wear it on a ride yet, but I am hopeful it will be much cooler than my cotton shirts and the sun block quality is a huge plus.

Love this shirt. Comfortable and cool. Only issue was that I noticed an inch long rip down the button seam but had already been wearing the shirt for about half an hour. So I didn't return it. Disappointing but I was able to sew it without it being noticeable. I liked the shirt so much I ordered two more in different colors. Happily, no tears or rips in those.

This shirt is well made and an excellent value at this price. Lightweight yet sturdy construction. The color is definitely hot pink/rosy, not red. It appears very red on my monitor. In terms of sizing, the fit is generous. I'm 5'7" with short torso, 34B, small back. I'd like to try the XS because the S is pretty roomy through the chest and entire back. Shoulder seams line up well, though. And if I went down a size it might not fit across my hips comfortably. This is, after all, a sporty shirt that I intend to wear for hiking, fishing, etc. (i.e., comfort and performance over looking super-svelt).

I purchased a Columbia Bahama shirt at an event with the event logo on it. I loved the fit, fabric and color so much I purchased several more from Amazon without the event logo and in different colors. The fit is flattering, the material really does wick moisture away. Availability of a variety of colors is great. I spend a lot of time outdoors in the summer. When I get really hot and sweaty they do not smell (a problem with other supposedly moisture wicking fabrics). When it is very hot outside, you can soak the shirt under the faucet, wring it out and then put it back on and it keeps you remarkably cool while it is drying. As long as you wring it out after doing this, it doesn't stick to you or drip. I spend a lot of time outdoors in these shirts and the colors don't fade either. If you are camping in austere conditions and need to hand wash, they are very easy to wash in a sink and dry quickly. Love these shirts!!!!

These are very good shirts, they are comfortable to wear and they do help you feel cooler. I do feel they are a little overpriced, but since I don't wear them everyday I bite the bullet and buy them.

El color no es el mismo y corre grande

These shirts runs large and a little too boxy for me, unlike other Columbia shirts. I ordered an XL, then returned and exchanged for a Large, but I think a Medium would fit better. I have to order a size up, XL, for other Columbia shirts. I ordered these for my daily hike in the woods but found out quickly though it is quick dry but it also do not let air flow inside the shirt and makes my hike very uncomfortalbe. I guess I should've know better, it is PFG so it repell water from the outside. Columia Lo Drag and Saturday Trail shirt fits my hiking needs much better.

I work in a manufacturing plant and needed something that look professional for client meetings but that could also hold up when I'm on the floor with my team. This fit perfectly, the material is great and it looks professional. I'll be ordering more colors!
