Perfect for replacing the bar in your boring, builder grade shower
I looked all over for this and finally found it here. The silver is nice, was super easy to install, is super sturdy, and fit perfectly! It can hold several shampoo/conditioner bottles with ease. Great value for the money! It’s a one-size item, so no adjustability, but WILL fit most un-remodeled bathrooms!

Great replacement
This is a great replacement. The only con was it was larger than the size I needed. I didn’t have proper tools to cut it. Upon reading other reviews I learned that all I needed was a very hot sharp knife. I made my measurement marker and heated the knife on the stove top. I made my cut & it fits perfect in my towel bar holder in my shower. Just make sure the knife is very hot. I had to reheat my knife cause it didn’t cut all the way through. I definitely recommend this product.

Works well - simple solution
Very easy to install - I removed the end caps, cut it to length, replaced the end caps, and slipped it into place. This was a very simple process and only took a few minutes to cut it down to length and install. This will hold your towels just fine, but will not support a lot of weight, so should never be used as a grab bar to support yourself getting in / out of the tub. I'm pleased with this purchase.

Nice gift
This was a gift for a friend who had their towel bar break and they couldn’t find a replacement. I found this and it works very well and the person was very pleased to receive it, it was easy to install and I would recommend it.

Did the job
It's a basic bar and it worked out well. Easy to cut to fit. Spring loaded ends allow for a snug fit.

Here’s the tricks to solve issues with the new style replacement bars
The Franklin Brass replacement towel bar is skinnier and has thinner plastic than the original. And, it looks like all the others sold on Amazon, Lowes and Home Depot are the same. As result, the rod spins in the ceramic holders and can bend under weight of wet towels. Yet, the spring clips are ingenius for installing a replacement bar. After unsuccessfully searching and searching online hoping to find a stronger bar that fits, I went to an old time Tile Supply store, and they had the original style clear towel bar exactly like the original, but without the spring clips, So, I used the spring clips from the Franklin Brass bar and they fit perfectly into the bar from the tile store. The next trick is the cut it the right length. Install one string clip in the bar, insert in one of the ceramic holders, push bar in and fully compress the spring, and mark the bar length at other end where it hits the outside of the other ceramic holder. I used a speed square and sharpie pen to mark where to cut the rod (draw the line on all 4 sides to guide your cut). I cut it with hack saw. Then slip in both spring clips. Insert in one ceramic holder, push it in to compress spring, and then the other side should tightly slide in. The bar then locks in place. Note, that once the towel bar is inserted, it cannot be removed. So, check with your local “small box” Ceramic Tile Supply stores to see if they have the old style clear towel bars and use the spring lips from the Franklin Brass bar on Amazon.

Was worried about reviews, but no problem at all !!
Fit where 46 year old towel bar broke, just cut to size .As strong and quality is as good as more expensive ones. Is a little smaller than old one in square size ,but reading others are too.Time will tell, but not abused by use. You can't beat price !!!

Adjustable & easy to mount
My original towel bar had broken. I purchased this one for my handyman to install because I had also broken off the mounts. The really nice thing about this towel bar is that it’s spring loaded so it’s adjustable.

Buy a saw
If you don't already have one, that is. It's easy. Just measure and cut.

Needed to be trimmed; looks good and works well
This easy to install towel bar needed a trim to fit into the ceramic ends on my wall, but this was easy to do with a saw. The springed ends made for an easy install. The bar looks good and serves its purpose. Very satisfied with this product.
