Fun to build.

Grandson (age 11) loved putting this together on his own. The only problem was one piece missing so a wing falls off. The remote is a bonus as gives more avenues for play.

We had some issues assembling this due to the directions being a little unclear. but I am very grateful the customer service made it up to us! They were extremely responsive and accommodating.

He turned 7 yrs old but has put together many large 500+ pieces of Lego sets. Some he did need help from parent to get certain parts placed properly but usually can do completely by himself. He is so excited as this is robot controlled by either controller that was included, cell phone, or his new tablet or voice control. This will be his first stem project and first remote control Lego he is making. Has a good start on it, will Take him several days to complete.

I received this set for Christmas and was excited for the challenge. I have experience with LEGO but not a lot in robotics. Still, i was able to put this together with only a little difficulty. The problem I have is the performance. Not only did the remote not connect well, but even after reading the instructions I was confused on what each button was supposed to do. It doesn't matter anyway because the dragon couldn't even move. Whenever I pressed a button for it to simply just walk either only one side would work or the whole thing would collapse under its own weight! Also, every time I tried to trouble shoot or even make it move all of the decorative pieces would break off! It's ridiculously fragile for something that's supposed to be moved and played with and the grip strength of the pieces are laughable! I'm horrified that my mom wasted $70 on such a craptacular piece! I'd return it, but I'm not sure if i am able now that it's all put together. DO NOT BUY, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. THIS IS NOT WORTH YOUR TIME OR YOUR MONEY.
