I bought this for an activity to do with my 10 yr old granddaughter. We had a lot of fun! It was quick, easy to do and not messy at all. The kit is basically creating 5 lipgloss vials by just adding glitter and stars to already scented, flavored lipgloss. And you can create new flavor/scents of gloss by mixing them together.GLOSS: very thin gloss; almost more of an oil, so you need very little on your lips. We bought the kit for the activity and time spent together, not the gloss quality.GLOSS CONTAINERS: these are nice and we liked the longer top for application. Unfortunately, they don’t have a flat bottom so they don’t stand on their own, but you can still throw them in a purse or school backpack. The cardboard tray included in the kit was not sturdy enough to last or to hold them.FLAVOR/SCENTS: all are nice, except for the grape (yuck!). The grape was really strong and wasn’t our favorite (in fact, I only used one drop and it completely overpowered the other better flavor/scent). My granddaughter didn’t use the grape, at all, since she didn’t like it. Mixing the flavors was also fun.GLITTER: kit supplied plenty of glitter and stars to mix with the gloss and we had a lot left over.SUGGESTION: fill the round lipgloss containers (vials) ONLY about 2/3 full of gloss or you’ll most likely run out of it. Even if we had used all of the grape, it still wouldn’t have been enough gloss to completely fill all 5 lipgloss containers. Additionally, the one container we did fill completely didn’t allow the glitter to mix as well when shaken, compared to those that were filled only 2/3 full or less. You can easily add more gloss later if you find you have extra gloss leftover…but you won’t, lolTO THE MANUFACTURER: please include more gloss and maybe some stickers to decorate the vials. But nice kit!My granddaughter and I both agreed that the kit was a 4.5 or maybe even 5 out of 5 stars. We’d definitely purchase it again! This would actually be a cute birthday gift, too, for a young girl (12 and under).

I was a bit disappointed, but it wasn't different from the picture, I just dont think it was worth it. It seemed like it was a lot cheaper quality in person. The kids don't notice this stuff, so it was still okay.

What better report do you need than that? Come from your grandchild? This was so much fun to Bank with her. The great activity and bonding moments. High-quality product. Great price.

This product is a great price point for a birthday gift and has great packaging! My niece was so excited for this gift and loved all the colors and flavors..

I think the best part of this product is the pretty packaging and lip balm containers. Everything looks nice but it is not very functional so I would not buy it again. The biggest problem is that the wax mixture dries extremely fast within minutes. I have no idea why they said 2 hours for it to form. It was forming in the bowl as I had to hurry up and pour it out. I even scrapped some off the stove and smashed it into one of my daughter's containers. That being said following the directions did not actually work out with my kids. The mixture dried way too fast for them to add color or anything to it. In the end I dumped the wax chips and base in a glass bowl and stirred it over a low boiling pot. That was the only way to keep it constantly liquid. Then we added the flavorings which are not very strong, I had them on my fingers and couldn't smell anything scented. Overall a nice idea but a better concept for the base is needed. Something that is easy to mix and really stays liquid for a long time. My kids were happy to have their own lip balm though, but were very frustrated in the process. Also couldn't really get the shimmer stuff to drip in as I was mixing so we didn't use that either. It just kind of smeared on my fingers.

My 5 year old saw her older sister making lip balm and desperately wanted to do it. She could quite handle all of the steps so we got her this kit. It was PERFECT. She could do almost the entire thing on her own with very minimal help from me. She loved it and felt like she was making science experiments too. Hands down one of her favorite birthday gifts.

Super fun to do with my little ones. Simple enough that my 3 year old could help out too
