I typically DESPISE energy bars. This one is an exception! I love the flavor, texture, and price. It fills me up after a workout and just in case I need a meal/ snack on the go, I keep one in my purse. I’d love to try more flavors, but I don’t want to get the variety pack and then maybe not like it. I’ll probably try the singles at Walmart to see which flavors I like first (that’s how I found this one!). This is definitely a keeper though. I have to hide them from my kids because they’ll devour them, too! 😩

These energy bars are very filling. I find it is best to eat them slowly. Sometimes i miss a meal and one of these bars is a complete meal for me with coffee, tea or a Dr Pepper. Traveling is great as these bars will be nourishing and fill you up. But, take a small bite at a time and drink liquid. If you take a long trip, a bar and a drink will keep you going without having to stop at a restaurant and waste a half an hour or more. I've tried the macademia nut, peanut butter and oatmeal. I like macademia nut the best. If you eat it fast like a candy bar, it will be a lump in your belly. Eat it slowly and it is tasty, satisfying and removes hunger for quite a while. They are great for hiking or mountain climbing as you can take a small bite at a time over a half an hour. You can feel the energy they give you.

I bought a few cases of these in order to maintain my energy level during the cold months (Oatmeal raisin walnut flavor). The taste is OK and the bars def do what is expected despite their tiny size. Expiration date on the ones I received wasn't that great (till 11/13) but I should finish them off and replenish by then so no big deal. My local Walmart has these for the same price, but I feel reluctant to buy from them...Overall, it's very good source of calories and tastes surprisingly well. I usually have a few of these in my truck as well as in BOB.

I like this bar and get a great price for it through subscribe and save. it definitely has an oatmeal taste if that's what you're going. there is raisin flavor but you can't taste an entire raisin (like you might in an oatmeal cookie) so it must be blended really well if texture is important for you. . Sometimes I wish it wasn't quite so sweet (and I l enjoy sweets) and had maybe a touch more of salt. Overall it's a good between meal or post workout snack! I recommend cutting it up into smaller pieces and then throwing it in a Ziploc or something comparable, for a "to go" snack, so it's not quite as sweet and/or lasts longer,...I like to half it because of the sweetness..

The only problem is, these Clif Bars are too good. But the sustained energy boost can be extraordinarily just what you need. They come in several flavors. Stay away from White Chocolate Macadamia if you want the box to last a few days. The price of the oatmeal raisin walnut Clif Bars, evidently, has doubled in price since my last order in March, but, fortunately, only on Amazon? ... perhaps.

I'm a wedding photographer, during a day of photo shooting (wedding, fashion, event, etc) there's not much time for long break and fancy meals... therefore energy bars come to save the day... I've tried many other brands but they either melt, crumble on my bag or are not tasteful at all (specially after few tries) ... CLIF bars are not only organic + natural but have a great taste and truly give me the energy I need to complete my job until I have time for a real meal... therefore CLIF bars always part of my photo gear...

Good product but became too expensive to continue buying
