Very cool product. The lighting system is ingenious. Look at my amazing USB cable! For those of you who say the screen is dark, you've probably just got the lens on the wrong way (the lighting apparatus needs to be on top of your phone's flash)

The lens itself is great, but as some other reviews mentioned the housings are finnicky. Keeping the clear housing in place is annoying but manageable; the real problem is the black housings. It is incredibly difficult to pop the lens out of the black housings. I recently got a new phone and was trying out the black housings to see if they would, since they seem a bit more precise. After a lot of effort and being very careful, I was unable to get the lens out of the housing without cracking the plastic body open where the front and back meet on one side. Really frustrating to have possibly ruines a $75 lens just because the housings provided suck so much.

The microscope requires the lower half to sit over the phone's camera light, and the lens half over the camera lens. The microscope utilizes the phone's camera light to provide illumination around its own lens. The mounting brackets provided do not allow the microscope lens to align properly over the Motorola G Power's light and camera lens because the bracket does not sit firmly and is easily jarred out of position. This makes it very difficult for the focus-adjustment tool to be used, since the least movement of the focus adjust moves the microscope. Very frustrating!

The product does magnify well but only on flat surfaces. It does not do well on curved surfaces. The guides that are included keep the magnifier from slipping. This product is fun but far too expensive. You can use the magnifying lens from a dollar store laser pointer and get very similar results. Remove the batteries before taking the laser pointer apart to avoid eye damage. The pictures here are of: 1. Hair and follicle 2. Back of a colored playing card 3. Close up of Penny 4. Salt grain 5. Works fine on iPhone X with a bit of adjustment. Make sure to point the microscope lens over the iphones lower lens. Wish it came with iPhone X attachments and spare microscope slides and cover slips for observing liquids.

The lens work greatBut the housing for sucks it doesn’t hold in place keeps moving and makes it impossible to use . And the tool for adjusting the les like really really bad make I even way harder to adjust lens

Great quality, cutting edge technology device. The only problem is that because of the lack of adjustments it's not capable of serious professional cell counting or analysis. You can see the cells clearly which is amazing! But because of it's small size & cumbersome focus setup requirements it's very difficult to calibrate this mini microscope to get accurate cell counts or analysis. I think it would be great to 'just check for living cell matter out in the field', but it won't replace your standard full size lab microscope. If that's what you're getting it for then this is a great and outstanding product. Otherwise invest in a full featured professional unit to get the job done right.

What a piece of crap. Do not buy it if you have iPhone 11. My kid has iPhone XS so I used it on his phone and let me tell you it’s a waste of money.

Blew my mind with the kind of zoom this one achieved... The photos look crisp and well detailed... this one is basically to examine flat slides... takes a bit of getting used to for observing 3d objects... but still for the size and price of this lil dynamite, i’ll say its a must buy...

Unable to focus. Not worth the buy. Wanted to return but could not. Showed to some local shop in market was told its a faulty product l.
