This is not one of those short floor lamps. Good height and the copper shade is a great day look with the lamp switched off. With that being said once the lamp is turned on the copper fades and become translucent. So if I were you I'd by a pretty bulb (Edison style) to use with it.

I like the look of the lamp a lot, and while it's simple I haven't really seen others quite like it. It's in my opinion more interesting than Ikea or another discounted product. The copper part is just a thick foil that simultaneously goes into two rail systems to assemble the shade. This has to be done on a flat surface. The foil part is a little bit flimsy looking, just ever so slightly. It's not too flimsy however and so it's pretty beautiful once it's set up, however it is essentially a paper like material more so then say a piece of metal. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the shade is slightly see-through and so can be used with an edison bulb or another bulb that can be shown off and actually does spread a pretty good amount of light and emits pretty cool shadows. The tripod legs are a matte metal that look fancier than on the photos in this product description. It's a really simple design which I like. The tripod legs spread out wide such that there could be potentially a little side table underneath the lamp, There is space for that and I think it would look pretty cool with a table underneath and would be a space saver. It lights up and distributes light well enough for reading and looks pretty warm and inviting in the roomIt's a pain in the butt to assemble. The styrofoam goes everywhere, little tiny pieces of styrofoam that fly away and need to be caught with a broom or wet napkin or...something. I'm still cleaning. The Tripod legs are the only easy part to set up whereas the shade took a really large amount of effort and then the Velcro that connects the two edges together unglued and we had to MacGyver it with gaff tape and I had to use another kind of Velcro that I happen to have at home, luckily. The inside of the shade is silvery and doesn't quite go with the gold theme...I think it's a great lamp but I don't know that it's really worth its full price and I'm definitely glad that I got it at a discount for taking the time to take to write this review, However I'm not sure that I would pay full price for it. I would be on the fence for that, although it is possible because it is a good deal for a simple, nice, unique design. It's definitely nicer than IKEA in fact I returned my IKEA lamp in order to have this lamp instead.Thank you for reading and if you found this review helpful please feel free to click the "yes" button.

the copper see through shade is so pretty in the living room, I love this lamp. The wrought iron tripod stand is sturdy and goes together easily each in several pieces. You even have to assemble the shade, which is very easy to do. There is a foot pedal to turn the lamp on, which I like. And the shiny copper really adds depth to the room.

I bought this item in 2017, it has been in a box ever since, waiting to be placed in my new home. I went to put it together this weekend and one of the pieces don’t fit. It seems to have been drilled wrong. And the lamp shade itself will not stay together. This product was poor put together

This was an open box product and was missing a piece but I was still able up make it work. I didn't like the silver look, the shade was too transparent but I love the shape of the lamp and size of the shade.I paid under $30 for this lamp.Similar lamps cost 2 to 3 times the price so I just bought a scrap of wool fabric from fabric store for $3 and hot glued it to the lamp shade.I love it now. Overall worth it since it was discounted!

Fantastic looking and gives a lucrative atmosphere to the room, easy to assemble

I LOVE this lamp. I have a photo I'll post when I'm on my computer, but I put an edison bulb in it (that I purchased from here) and it looks amazing. The shade ends up being see through when the light is on, which is what makes the edison bulb look so good, but even with a regular bulb it looks great!
