This kit is NOT FOR BEGINNERS. Assembly is required. 2 people needed for attaching to ceiling. "Instructions" are all PHOTOS. --- Many issues exist for this "kit" that may not lend itself to a beginner.FIRST, the only instructions are simple PHOTOS with NO STEP-BY-STEP list. --- SECOND, this entire fixture MUST BE ASSEMBLED, with some of the threaded parts not machined properly, making the screw-in/on process difficult enough to require pliers to seat properly. --- THIRD, there are 7 sets of RED/WHITE wires but only 6 PLACES to attach them to the controller module. I had to create a specialized splice (see photos). --- FOURTH, the controller module does NOT SIT FLAT within the fixture. It sits atop the many wires and between those wires and the ceiling. --- FIFTH, the bracket that attaches to the ceiling box is NOT ADJUSTABLE, meaning that the orientation of this fixture cannot be easily adjusted. So depending on how your ceiling box screw holes are aligned/oriented will determine how your new light fixture looks (it could be off-center or mis-aligned with the room.) --- SIXTH, it takes 2 PEOPLE to mount this light to the ceiling. Before you can mount this you have to connect the wires to the house wiring, not an easy task given the size of this light. And then you have to properly align the mounting holes to the previously installed bracket. Again, 2 PEOPLE are required to safely and properly attach this light to the ceiling. --- SEVENTH, fortunately, this light functioned properly after the install. It is an attention-grabber. --- BUT, is it worth all the hassle? As an experienced home rehabber and electrician, sadly no.

One of the circles was defective and missing power pack. Had to reschedule electrician for an additional cost as a result.Update: second replacement from May and not the second unit is not working correctly. I absolutely love the fixture but apparently there is no quality department. Some ring got really bright while others are barely lighting at all. Here we go again, I am beyond frustrated!

There are no instructions to install

This light fixture was a great surprise and I recommend it for anyone needing an elegant looking fixture with a remote control.Pros: The dimming and color warmth achievable by use of the remote is wonderful. When the power was first turned on, the stunning brightness it can achieve was a pleasant surprise. The threading on various pieces was good so it was easy to assemble the physical light fixture (wiring was a bit confusing).Cons: The installer needs to know how to install a light fixture because the instructions consist only of 5 pictures and one of the pictures was misleading. The instruction picture showing the black junction thing (Number 14 in installation pictures) where all wires plug in to shows that the orange wire from the “Drive” (Number 13 in installation picture) went into the positive slot in black junction with corresponding white wire going to the negative. However, to the extent it was preassembled when I received it, those orange and white wires were reversed in the black junction thing. I contacted seller who quickly told me that orange is supposed to be negative and white positive. The light has turned on since so that appears to be correct. Another confusing part of pictures is that there is a hole in the middle of the “drive” because you need to thread the wires from the smallest circles through that hole or else the drive will not fit when you attempt to attach the whole fixture to the bar you attach to the ceiling. Due to the weight and means of connecting the largest circles to the main fixture, the ends of the circle droop down a bit, but it is not noticeable given how high to the ceiling this fixture is positioned.Lesson learned, when installing, if you are not hooking this up where a light switch will control the power, in order to program the remote to work with the fixture, you need to push the setup button on the remote within 5 seconds of the fixture receiving power.

It is very nice, they have good lighting, I have it in one of my rooms and I really like it a lot

Beautiful and elegant lighting fixture. It is shiny and has a mirror on the base and sparkling crystals all around its circles. It gives excellent white light for the living room or dining room. Installation to an existing ceiling electric box was simple, the most challenging aspect being assembling the light fixture, There was not enough information in the instructions, which consist of only 1 page with five pictures. Other than the initial issue assembling it, the light fixture looks sturdily built and of good quality. I have it on a dimmer switch, although it looks like this is not compatible with that. Overall, this is a wonderful, nice light fixture that is also functional and bright.

Super nice lighting, very well made and nice quality light. Easy to install, I just set it on a ladder until I tied in all the wires, then had son hold it to the ceiling while I mounted it. It works well with my existing light switch and is super bright. Nicely priced, highly recommend.
