Oil filter appears to be the same as my previous orders. My previous orders were from the North American Mahle supplier. Just be aware that this one is sourced from Mahle in Shanghai, China.Anyways, this filter fits perfectly on my 2014 981 Cayman S.

Does the Job
Since my 981 Boxster S is a summer car, I don't drive that many miles before its annual oil change and storage. The product fits well and seems to do the job. As to "easy to remove", that's relative. The 3.4 engine in this car has its oil filter in a different spot than my earlier 987.1 BS. As a result its harder to access and in done blindly. Even the wrench used creates problems. However, this is not the fault of the filter.
