1 skein.... if you 2ant 12 you have to select bulk that gives you 1 box of 12 and pictures shows a box.

Q: Is this the same dmc floss that joann and michael's sell for less than a dollar a skein, sometimes three skeins for a dollar?

Yes. Amazon charges fees to sell it per month and per item. Then I have to buy the shipping envelope and the shipping labels. Shipping is between 3.00 to 3.45 depending on where you live. It’s not like an expensive item. I have no room to play. Sorry you think it is expensive. I do this for people that can’t get to JoAnn or Micheals. But remember you are paying for gas.
