I needed very sharp, small scissors to snip ultrasuede in tiny places. These worked great! They are very sharp at the very tip and that is that I was looking for. I really like the design; they are easy to pick up and put down without having to put your fingers through handle-holes like regular scissors, and this makes them highly maneuverable, with an ability to change angles easily and it is not awkward. Super easy to use. The only drawback I noticed was when I had a little misplaced glue, they did not cut well through the glue + ultrasuede (but it is heavy duty, thick, hard glue). I will just be careful with my glue placement. So I am hoping they stay sharp. I would not recommend them for children to use, they are very sharp. I kept the little plastic protective end cover and use it when storing the scissors because the scissors stay in the "open" position by design, and the protective cover keeps them in the "closed" position. They are great scissors and I would recommend them and would buy them again.

We use these micro scissors primarily for mouse dissections. They are sharp, easy to hold, and work well. My technicians tend to prefer these over other iris type of scissors for surgeries. The picture in the description accurately portrayed the product we received.

Came oiled up so they need a soap clean for sure. I use them for eyebrow trimming and they work great. Light on the hands. I hated getting my fingers caught in the small trim scissors. They are too pricey and not worth it, they do feel as if theyll dull within a few months.m. I would purchase more later if needed.

the scissors are sharp and will cut easily. Unfortunately, the uncovered spring mechanism is not covered and no arrempt was made to dull the edges of that, so it digs into the skin in the palm of my hand when i use them. I'm elderly and my skin is thin so i will probably have to buy a toddler's version and hope it will be sharp enough. My hands are becoming more and more useless as I age and can no longer use regular scissors to open condiment packages, tea bags, etc .

This makes eyebrow grooming much easier, more precise.

I've bought many pair of snippies, both cheap and expensive. These fit in my hand nicely, don't require much effort at all to squeeze, and so far they've stayed very sharp. If you're using them for embroidery or any close work, they're fabulous. My only comment would be that if you're using them for less precise work and moving quickly, such as trimming stray threads in volume, the mouth opening is narrower than some other snippies I've used, so I need to pay a bit more attention to what I'm doing to get the snippies over the thread.
