I am pleased with this product. I purchased one in gray, the color was very nice in person. The pillowcase is nice and smooth and has a nice shine. I like it because it feels pleasant against my face and has a nice cooling effect. I haven’t noticed if it’s made my skin better yet or protected against wrinkles (that would take years), but I feel like it’s softer than my average pillowcase. I also feel like my hair is less tangled when I wake up. I recommend!

I have mid-back length, dry, medium fine, 2a hair. I’ve noticed less fallout and frizz after I switched to this case along with a scalp serum. I also have several allergies and feel this is better for them than cotton or poly cases. I had initial concerns because I’m a very hot sleeper. This case feels cool to the touch and does not get as warm as my other cases. I was using 100% cotton slightly shined satteen woven ones. Cleaning is easier than I thought. I wash this once a week in the bathroom sink with a tiny bit of my Vanicream face wash. Then roll in a towel to get out excess water. And it dries super fast on a towel bar in the warm LA weather. I gifted ones to my mom and a male friend with long hair. They both have also noticed that their hair is in a better condition. The material also does not feel fake compared with my $500 silk duvet and cover.

I suffer from hair fall and needed a soft pillowcase for my contour memory foam pillow. I researched a lot about sarin and silk pillowcases and scunchies which apparently reduce hair breaking and hair fall in general. The satin pillow cases cost a fraction of these silk cases and I was tempted to buy one. The satin felt cheap and slippery and I got rid of it before convincing myself to pool in $$ for this 100% mulberry silk pillowcase. First of all, delivery was prompt and the pillowcase came in a neat gift box. When I opened it, I was doubtful that it might feel like cheap satin or polyester. How wrong I was! These pillowcases are the epitome of soft, silky, luscious luxury. Ticked all the boxes right away. I soaked the pillowcase in dettol and water to sanitize it before use. I bought the grey color one and glad them at it did not bleed any color during wash and the material did not crumple after drying. The standard size is too big for my contour pillow which is fine with me since I couldn’t find a smaller size. The workmanship is excellent and the case has a discreet zipper. The only thing you might want to note is that if you have nails, they can scratch the pillowcase and I don’t regret not going for a lighter color since spots or dust would stand out on them. I am using these from around 3 months and will update here if it helps with my hair fall or not. Also, you may need additional cases in case 1 is getting washed. I’ve both hand washed and machine washed in delicate cycle and the pillowcase has held up well. As of now, I highly recommend these silk pillowcases.

The pillowcase is so soft and luxurious, I love it! The larger size fits my favourite pillow. Postage was reasonably quick, considering it was the busiest time of the year for the Post Office. All good!!
