I'd been looking for a device to trap or kill flies, something a little fancier than a fly strip. Well, this flytrap, even though it's just a glorified piece of flypaper, IS EXCELLENT. It catches anything and everything. It's perfect! Plus, it's a nice, soft, blue nightlight, too. Even though we don't need it in the winter, we found it to be so pleasant that we keep it plugged in 'year round.

Initial unit, old style with 2 side plugins, stopped working after a few months. Using the plugins for a single coffee pot overloaded it. We love the new style, it works extremely well. Only negative is that it completely covers both wall receptacles.

I've been years hunting for an answer to killing bugs and, at last I found on that really does work. Simple, no hassle, highly effective and bugs are gone soon after they arrive in my home. That's something, spending hundreds of dollars over the past few years and worrying I may have been paying too much. Buy one for every room that has a problem. There is a difference between expensive and costly, one you paid too much or two, it delivered all it claimed to be. It was somewhat costly and you do need to replace the pads but I still have room left after countless bugs have been stopped in their tracks. Not expensive or costly to replace. If you have bugs you need this.

This thing is amazing. I keep it in the bathroom where my cat's litter boxes are, which keeps the flys non-existent. Very easy to use, slide in the sticky pad and plug into a wall and it's good to go. Mine did die after about a month and a half of use. I bought replacement bulbs but found out it was the unit itself. I'm disappointed it didn't last very long, but I'll probably buy another one since it worked so well.Note: It is brighter than you would think so don't put it anywhere you plan to use for a nap. I put this in the kitchen then tried to nap on the couch the room over, it did keep me up.
