Great Pump
I bought this pump because I upgraded my lights to Current LEDS with the Bluetooth Loop system. I liked the fact that I control this pump with the Bluetooth controller. The pump came with all necessary 3/4 and 1 inch pumping, controller, power supply, mounting hardware and instructions. I run 3/4 inch in sump return line. So I attached the screen to intake and put the 3/4 inch hose barb on. I used a zip tie to secure the hose to the barb for extra safety. I then I mounted controller and set up with loop. I plugged in the power supply which by the way is same supply that is used for LED lights. I went into loop app and adjusted the power of the pump. The pump runs at 30 percent at lowest setting. It will not go any lower. After a few minutes of playing with volume I settled at 60 percent. I have a 55 gallon standard tank with a corner over flow. And in the pump settings I have the feed section on. The pump powers down to 30 percent for 10 mins for feeding mode. Then ramps back up. The pump is very quiet and powerful. Some things when setting up. First Current uses micro USB for the pump controller to Loop controller. The cord isn't that long. So plan accordingly. Next you have to plug the micro USB on the pump controller in the way instructions say. If not Loop will not control. Its the farthest right on the controller. The last thing is that this does not come with extra extension for pump power. I got lucky and didn't use the ones from my lights. So I used the one. The nice thing about this setup is the extensions are all universal. So they work on lights or pumps. About flow. You could get away with this pump probably up to a 75 gallon tank. But the same works perfectly for a 55 gallon. The last thing is customer service with Current. I had a few questions on setup. I called first thing when they opened. And got an answering machine. Left a message. I think they called back but I figured it out myself. I didn't try the email support so have no idea. Besides the customer support issue I would recommend Current products. I will update if I have any issues with this pump.

Quiet, Small, Low Power Drain
I love my Current USA eFlux Return Pump.Pros:1 - Simple Setup (It was simple to add to my Marine Bluetooth Controller) (Purchased Separately)).2 - Ultra Quet (I actually had to feel my return noiseless to check if it was running)3 - It has an adjustable return flow (When you turn the pump on it ramps up from stop to the desired output, excellent if you don't want to blow your Corals off your Reef Rock.4 - DC Motor so it uses very little electricity.5 - Minimal Footprint for tight spaces without compromising water Output.Cons:1 - Priced more than Competors DC Return Pumps of Comparable Flow2 - You have to use the independent hub (Included with Purchase) when upgrading to the Marine Bluetooth Controller. (I like a tangle free clean setup.)Summary:I would recommend this Excellent DC Return Pump to any friend. This will be a great addition to any Aquarium needing a Return Pump.

Great Pump for the Money
The Current USA was a replacement for an Reef Octopus VarioS 8. It has performed better than expected and definitely delivers flow high enough to meet the needs of the aquarium (125 gallons). I will also note that I am running a manifold that feeds a chiller in addition to the display tank. The pump is quiet and I like the flow control panel and how precisely you can control the flow. Only drawback as noted by others is that the pump does not come with standard fitting sizes. It took a little work to adapt is to my aquarium plumbing.

Small, Ultra quiet, variable speed, future LOOP upgrades
I'm not going to knock a star off because they are still developing the LOOP app for smartphones. All I have is the pump AND MAN DOES THIS THING MOVE WATER QUIETLY!!! It's about half the size and weight of my old 1800 GPH pump and this one does 3000+ and it just feels well-built. Even without all the LOOP features you can use with their other products, this pump is amazing. Variable speed and stupidly quiet even running inline like mine. I only wish the they included threaded adapters that fit PVC standards instead of the barbed fittings. even the threaded parts almost look like they work with 1.5" PVC but they don't!! ( I used the smaller flange piece from a 3/4" threaded PVC union to adapt to the collar on the effluent in place of the 3/4" barbed fitting they included. Had to cut the flange down a bit but it plumbs in cleaner than the supplied barb fittings.)

Worked great for 4 months. Then suddenly died.
Pump installed easily and worked great, until it didn’t. I was extra careful and did proper pump maintenance at 3months and didn’t see and changes in power use through my aquarium controller until I woke up to an alert that it wasn’t using any. Never ran dry or sucked up any large debris. Took it apart and found no build up or damage, pump is just dead. Spend the extra money on a better pump, or at least make sure you have a backup! Your reef tank is worth the extra $.

Very powrerful and very queit. Works great with the Loop system.
I hooked this up a couple of days ago in what will become a 150 gallon reef tank. I have been running it with fresh water the last couple of days just to check out the sump plumbing before going to salt next week. The pump is fantastic. It is very powerful and very quiet. By my calculations, the tank drains into the sump at a max of 1400 GPH. If I turn this up to max, it will outrun the drainage, so 1900 GPH flow is probably accurate. I cannot hear the pump running at all. I have it hooked with 2 60" Loop LED lights and 2 small wave pumps and the system works great. Everything is controlled through the main computer and the water flow is substantial. This will be perfect to get my reef system flowing.

Absolutely silent
Have this running inline for a aquarium chiller and it’s literally silent. I sometimes can’t even tell if it’s on cause even if you touch it there’s no vibration or noise change. Definitely the best pump I’ve ever owned. The controller is nice and I like how it comes with a removable mounting base. Only gripe is if you want any kind of Wi-Fi control then you have to buy their extra Wi-Fi hub to get that working but for my application it really isn’t needed.
