Brilliant stuff
Brilliant stuff. Like an idiot I first tried to do my feature wall with standard masking tape - as you can see from the before photo, it made a right mess. Managed to clean it up to perfection with the frog tape and now I recommend it to everyone.

Very good if used correctly
This is a very good staff. I saw good reviews and bad reviews about this product. In my opinion, if used correctly, it can't go wrong. Preparing the surface is the most important bit when it come to decorating. For example, I did few orange stripes on a feature wall. I'll try to explain step by step so everyone can understand how to use this tape without pulling off the paint.I'm my case was fresh plaster. I put a mist coat first (watery matt emulsion) and then light sanding down. DUST OFF the surface (This is the most important step) and then I applied 2 coats of vinyl matt emulsion (orange in my case). Applied the making tape and then I painted the full wall in grey matt emulsion. JUST AFTER I finished rolling, I removed the masking tape. It came off easy without piling off the orange paint. I'm very happy with the result. So the product is good if used correctly.

Absolutely NOT low tack!!! Rubbish.
I’m a paint sprayer by trade and use masking tape daily and this stuff ISNT low tack/delicate whatsoever. I’m fact it has more tack than standard masking tape. Loads of rubbish!!! Now having to paint what I’ve already painted!!! Thanks a lot. 👎

This frogtape is not the problem, THE PAINT IS
This is honestly such a fantastic product! It gave me fantastic results, I genuinely don’t think that frogtape is the issue but the paint you’re using is! The walls had been painted white a couple days earlier and it hadn’t taken off any of the paint from the wall at all. The grey and blue paint I used for this hexagon design were from the same paint company (colourcourage at £3 per tester pot) and both colours either leaked or chipped which was annoying.HOWEVER, for the pink and yellow hexagons I used two completely different brands (pink was Farrow & Ball, the most expensive tester pot I used at £5, and the yellow had been GoodHome, the cheapest tester pot I used at £1.30) and they both had absolutely flawless results, there was not one chip or leakage and the lines were crisp, no complaints with them. That could not have been a coincidence!!! The paint is the issue, not this fab product. Cannot recommend this enough if you use it properly by following the instructions given.

Pulled all the Paint off. Avoid
Having got on great with the regular Green Frog tape and because I had some newly painted delicate edges between the ceiling and walls, I thought I'd go for the delecate version. Terrible mistake. It pulled all the Paint off making it wasted Hours. The paint had fully cured, it had been on for at least 48 hours. I didn't leave the tape on the wall, I removed as soon as the painting edges were done.In another room, the suggestion of softening the tape with a hair dryer worked, but still required some patching up because the odd section of paint peeled off, plus using a hair dryer is awkward and very time consuming. Not impressed with this at all

Time saver and works well
I used this recently when painting the room with one feature wall in a darker colour. It is a life saver and saved me hours of trying to get a straight line. In the other rooms that I have painted I never used this tape and after speaking to our plasterer he suggested buying this. It takes all the frustration and hard work out of trying to get a perfectly straight line and it does NOT stick to the surface you are painting. It peels of easily. It comes in a great case that you can store the roll in when not in use.I would strongly recommend it for masking work when painting walls.

Probably the best you’ll get. Very good but...
Really easy to use and I would say that this is probably the best on the market due to the paint block technology however I wouldn’t say it’s perfect. Having had our walls painted over 48 hours using hard wearing Matt scrub able paint, we used this to mask to allow door frames to be painted. Absolutely no bleed under the tape but when we’ve pulled it off it has pulled some paintwork off the wall. It isn’t terrible as it’s slightly further away from the frame so easy enough to touch up but I do wonder how this would compare to the standard version. Awarded 3.5 stars in reality as it does say you can use after 24 hours. I’m not sure I’d find anything better so I will use again, maybe just try to remove some tackiness somehow.

I'm a convert
My wife took it upon herself to help with the preperations when we decided to redecorate. A Youtube video suggested frog tape for masking light switches, plug sockets, skirting boards and round the ceiling, I would normally have used an unbranded masking tape. After using this tape I am a complete convert, it is easy to apply, totally protects the light switch and plug socket and most importantly, when you peel it off the line is so crisp it looks like a professional has done your painting. If you care about your home, use this tape.
