Kingdom is certainly not in control of all he believes he is
Kingdom a bad boy MC VP meets Sage a stand in receptionist at the tattoo parlor not realizing that this beautiful woman who gets him is much more than he knows, but he does know that she is it for him.Sage is a defense attorney out there on her own until she meets and tries not to fall for a biker, there is something about Kingdom the way he looks and the way he talks draws her like a moth to a flame and King knows it. A very entertaining story line, the characters are very intriguing as they work their way through the good and bad times. HEA. I read a copy without obligation. I volunteered an honest review.

Nothing original, yet hard to put down...(go figure)
This story delivered exactly what I like in my romance reading. A strong plot, a rough, arrogant and dominant Army Special Ops Vet turned MC biker, and all of it not overwhelmed with sex (even though sex is a must). Steamy moments told well.. Biker attitude and lingo are spot on. Anyway, Kingdom is an emotionally scarred and proud man, struggling through loss, grief and guilt. He ignores and hides his wounds from the world but the situation progressively worsens. He’s a pompous wreck who denies he needs healing...especially the attention of a female to ease him out of his funk. Then he meets Sage and everything blooms and comes alive. Sage is a sweet but feisty, very independent and stubborn criminal defense lawyer. After a few breakups and being burned, she’s vowed never to be indebted to a man again. But Kingdom, being the arrogant man that he is, puts a plan into motion to reel her in. Her indifference and lack of interest almost throws him off his game. So here we go....the downside: The author conveyed one scene in present time, using past tense, past participle, and past modal/3rd singular verbs making it sound like it WOULD happen. Or was GOING to happen. For example; Kingdom “burned to press his tongue against her pulse”. (He was already doing this). Another... “He would loop around her amulet and tug it toward him and her body would follow.” (He was already doing this too). The author made sound like something he’s going to do once they know each other better. It doesn’t sound like he’s already doing these things. But I read on and it’s actually happening in real time....(not in his thoughts). I re-read this scene three times to figure it out. The other thing is the drama:***SPOILER***Kingdom ALMOST slept with someone BEFORE he and Sage are together. Because he can’t stop thinking about Sage, he stops himself and walks away. Months later, Sage finds out what ALMOST happened (when they weren’t yet together), and she breaks up with him. (Color me confused!!). No trust was broken because...THEY WEREN’T TOGETHER!!Anyway, adult language is raw and edgy. Strong characters and great supporting characters. Great attention to details and description throughout; from architectural, to scenic, physical and personality details...The author doesn’t scrimp. Great tension, controversy and angst. It was easy to connect to each protagonist. This story really wasn’t anything original, but it was addicting and hard to put down.

KING
It's one of the best MC books I've read in a while. Beautiful, sassy, alpha male, and all the fun that goes with a bunch of MC brothers. Im looking forward to the fall of the rest of the brothers. Rock on

It was missing something
This was an alright, albeit frustrating read. I enjoyed some parts of it. I wasn’t really a fan of any of the characters, except Cutter. There was a lot of unnecessary back and forth between Kingdom and Sage. While reading, it felt like nothing really happened. I was expecting a lot more action with it being MC based book. The spice, and there was a lot, was great.I didn’t really feel like Kingdom was redeemable. I don’t mind the overbearing nature and the cockiness, but his “growth” didn’t feel real. I didn’t like him that much. I would’ve loved to have gotten to know more about his pay with Chopper. I think it would’ve given a deeper look into him and would’ve made me like him more.Sage, in my opinion, wasn’t a very strong FMC. There were a few instances of strength, but I felt like she let everyone walk all over her. She didn’t seem to have any fight in her.Overall, it was just alright.

Just wow
Not what I expected but certainly not disappointed. This is Kingdom and Sages story. Polar opposites who attract like magnets. Kingdom is VP of his club, Sage is an attorney . Talk about sparks and sizzle. This is a great love story with just the right amount of angst, pure alpha male and stubborn female. The storyline is credible and the sex is on fire. Not to be missed.

kick ass read
Awesome story! Loved kingdom and sages story. He is all domineering and alpha and I am here for it. He is sex personified and knows how to always get what he wants. Yes he is bossy and yes a bit pushy but you can’t help but love him for it. I liked sage but at times I found her annoying. She is strong but it is all a front for the pain she has suffered in the past at the hands of her ex. I get where she is coming from but honestly she is a smart lawyer and she didn’t even have the balls to have a conversation with kingdom and get his story before bailing and running away. I didn’t like that especially because they weren’t exclusive or dating for long when this all went down. He didn’t owe her anything honestly but whatever. Then she does it again with Kane and what she perceives to see. Like come on in a public place you’re gunna pull that. Wow. Just wow for kingdom having the common sense to know she was still insecure about the prior incident but she still should have came to him to talk. She deserved the smack down convo cutter gave her. Can’t wait for cutters book.

hot domineering biker makes a good combo
What a great start to this series. Have to say, I really liked the dynamic between Kingdom and Sage. You feel the relationship develop naturally, as a badass domineering biker would allow. The story was good and the hotness quota was off the charts. I actually can’t wait to see what happens next!!

Kingdoms Reign
Kingdom’s Reign is the first book in the new series in ‘The Demon Squad’.I absolutely loved Kingdom and Sage’s story ❤️❤️❤️ Kingdom feels an instant attraction to Sage when he sees her at the tattoo shop, he’s not ready for a relationship but the connection is strong. Sage finds his domineering ways far to much, she has come to far i her career as an successful attorney to let the attraction sway her thoughts. Finally they are unable to ignore their attraction and put themselves and the MC in danger. 100% recommend this book to everyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ you will not be disappointed 😎
