Feels and looks like it actually works on typewriters. Very happy.
Used it a couple of hours ago on a 1948 Sterling Continental typewriter's rock hard, and pitted with "full stops", platen. At the time of application, it cleaned and left a stickier platen to the touch than my tried and trusted Platenclene spray. Very happy. Two hours later, the shine has gone as has a lot of the sticky feel but the platen looks and feels better for it. Still happy. I'll give each of my machines a little go with some as and when they come into rotation. Word of warning, the chemical smell is VERY strong. (Like TCP on acid). Use sparingly and in a ventilated room to avoid "issues".

Great stuff but be careful
Works excellent for sorting old shoe soles. Used this on a pair of 1989 Nike’s and they worked excellently, not a permanent solution but certainly helps and was worth the money compared to the alternatives to fixing them. Be careful with this though as it absolutely stinks and made my house smell like a doctors office for a good few days. It also strips any colour or paint so be careful where you apply it.

The rubber saver
Brilliant bit of kit , I used this on a rubber sunroof seal in my VW tiguan, the seal was completely hard and unyielding, but after treatment the supplyness of the rubber was transformed and hence the roof is now water tight again , took a couple of application's and it does smell quite strong but this can be forgiven as the performance is excellent

Great stuff!
This is ideal for reviving capstan wheel's on tape decks. Some say this stuff smells. To be honest, I couldn't smell any strong odours. Would buy again.

Works
You have to be very careful when you are using it, but it works really well. Repaired seals on a couple of old vacuums

Expensive and overhyped, and thoroughly unpleasant to use.
I bought this hoping to rejuvenate a couple of turntable idler wheels which had hardened slightly with age. The wheels weren't cracked and were still relatively pliable, but had lost their grippy surface over 50 years of use. I see this stuff used all the time, particularly by American electronics techs on Youtube so I thought I'd give it a try. You don't get much for your money, though you don't use much in an application either. Nor would you want to as the stuff gives off a thoroughly unpleasant smell. It's not that the smell itself is offensive, but it stays with you and you smell it for hours. You should wear gloves when using this as it does contain some nasty stuff, and use disposable cloths. Note too that it stains fabric and some wood. As far as its performance, it didn't do much. I applied several applications to both wheels, letting them dry between each application. Initially when you apply the liquid it does appear as if the rubber is gaining more grip, as it becomes more difficult ot spread the liquid and your cloth tends to stick and drag on the rubber. But once it dried I couldn't detect any difference. Scuffing the surface with a fine sandpaper did a lot more than this product did. It may work in some scenarios, perhaps rejuvenating printer rollers or rubber seals that are made of newer rubber formulae. But as far as I'm concerned a good clean with isopropyl alcohol did about as much as this stuff did, without the lingering smell. I still have over half a bottle left so I'll try it in future and update this review accordingly, but I'd imagine there is better out there.

Succesful application
Rubber Renue worked perfectly on my Record Player Idler Wheel. After cleaning the hardened outer edge & applying the rubber renue the turntable speed was restored to the correct speeds with excellent results

Does what it says
This is brilliant! I used it on the idler wheels, capstan and belts of an old reel to reel tape deck that was slipping. It makes the rubber like new again. To say it does exactly what it says on the tin is an understatement! Very pleased.

Yes, it's very expensive. But I took a chance and bought it to refurbish the pinch rollers on my 50-year-old Sony TC-788-4 reel-to-reel tape deck. They were glazed, shiny and hard, and would not move the tape correctly. I did two rounds of applying the Renue according to the instructions, with a good cleaning with alcohol after each round of Renue. I got a LOT of black residue off, so I knew the Renue has opened up the rubber surface. Afterwards I did a very light scuffing with fine grit sandpaper. The capstans are now a nice matt color, and they are working nicely. Be sure to use this stuff outdoors or with an exhaust fan; it's very volatile. I wore nitrile gloves. I should have used an eye covering because my eyes watered for a day after using it. After closing the jar, I put it in a thick sealed plastic bag to help contain the fumes. Just be careful, but the stuff really works.

I was introduced to this product when I bought my second car by a body shop employee. It does what is is supposed to do. Just know this stuff is caustic in one form or another and it "does what it is supposed to do", so be responsible with its use and disposal. Great Product, saved the restoration of an old fishing vessel, brought the rubber flange back to life, very happy since the ports were not replaceable. Rejuvenates All rubber parts to an almost new condition it needs reapplying for really old rubber it will work, "Follow the instructions and wear protection.
