Using for Succulents, Houseplants, and Indoor Garden mixes!
I was looking for coco peat to mix with sand and soil to make my own draining succulent medium. I found this during a sale where it was just under $20 shipped for the 50l bag! I decided to use this as is for my succulents and they are thriving. I would definitely rebuy at the $43 current price, it's worth it in my opinion. I plan on using the rest to mix with soil for my houseplants and indoor garden(growing veggies and leafy greens for my small animals) to add drainage. Soil drains very well as is and remains moist for about 3 days after.

Great Results for a First Grow
New grower and I haven't had a problem. I know a while back when I was reading reviews before I purchased this, someone mentioned that they were upset about the sediment output. I have found no matter what I use or what I'm growing, I like to handle and mix my soil up myself. Make sure you have enough drainage so you can see sediment. No big deal. Flush them out, leave the plants to dry a bit, do it again. No sediment, no problem. Return to regular programming the next day. Anyway, can I say I've had a ton of experience? No, it's my first grow. But, it really isn't an issue flushing out your soil. The entire process takes energy anyway. I had a budget issue in the middle of my grow, so I had to buy another block brand of coco and a separate bag of perlite. My seedlings are struggling. I'm grateful I have enough to purchase a bag or two today so I can readjust everyone again and hope for the best. All I can say is, for someone who's just started out, I haven't had any problems. I will continue using them for my veggies and herbs during these unfamiliar times.

Check your local grow store!!! Mother Earth Coco is my favorite by far so I am constantly using this stuff. Was in a pinch and bought two bags at just under $35 a piece. My local store is only $32 for TWO of the same size bags so as far as the product goes I would recommend and rate it at 5/5 but for the price point here its worth driving even a half hour to an hour to pick this stuff up locally and save yourself some serious money if you use it more than once.

Finally, a potting soil that doesn't clump or turn useless!
I ordered a bag of this a couple of weeks ago. I just ordered another one. This product is--while a tad pricey--light, airy, allows for good water absorption and, I can tell, isn't going to turn into a hard mass that roots can barely get through. Yet, it's able to hold moisture well even in the hot, dry climate where my container gardens must try to endure.I live in terror of those "rich, black" potting soils that quickly turn to hard clumps, barely allowing plants to survive, much less thrive, and work not because of soil quality but because they're filled full enough of fertilizer to allow short-term plant growth. This product has "quality" written all over it!

So Far So Good The Pros Outweigh The Cons
One thing everybody needs to understand about this soil it's unlike any other soil. It is almost impossible to over water your plants. Forget about scratching the surface of the dirt 1" in down to see if your plant needs water that method does not work on this soil. My plants drink the water so fast the dirt on the top doesn't have time to dry out your plants will die before the surface 1" down dries. I'm still debating whether I like this soil or not, I like the fact that I can feed the plants more often and change the dosages quickly and flush them with ease if needed, I really never have to worry about over watering, in fact I have to worry about under watering my plants. Get yourself a good moisture meter & check the pot weight before & after. I'm thinking I will be watering twice a day in 3 gallon pots in the coming weeks.

Saved my plant babies!
Not only did it arrive early, but man are my plants happy! Giant bag for only $40, and I don't have many plants so this will last me quite a while. I was able to save 2 of my plants with this medium! I am going to use it in all of my gardening from now on.*Arrived with no tears in the bag, no bugs, completely sealed. It is very heavy so make sure you have some help carrying it unless your strong as h'yuck, unlike me.
