Perfect amount of tingle that lasted about 15 minutes. Very moisturizing.

This stuff is so fun! For me, it's like an actual buzzing vibration sensation. It's pretty wild. It does plump the lips a little bit. It's actually hydrating as well. I got the bubble trouble and it smells awesome and tastes ok. I'm a fan. Will buy again!

The natural oil responsible for the buzzing tingle is from the Zanthoxylum americanum shrub, the common prickly ash. A cousin to sichuan pepper, and both are in the citrus family! (Yep, Szechuan is technically a citrus. Teeny-tiny little dried-out citrus with ANGER ISSUES lol). The buzzing tingle on the lips feels very similar to Szechuan pepper, - I've never had it on my lips before, for very long; it's pleasant, buzzing, and slightly numbing! I was skeptical of the wording, but now that I've tried it... I do like the word 'buzzing' as a description, rather than simply 'tingling'. 'Tingling' doesn't quite cover it! At first you do "freak out" like they advertise, because it's such a novel feeling! But... then you reach for it, again and again. When I get some on my tongue, it doesn't really do as much as it does on my lips, and it doesn't feel "spicy" in exactly the same way as Szechuan. TRY IT this stuff is so weird and so cool! Tomorrow I get my bubblegum flavor one, I can't wait! PS there is nothing in my botany experience that would suggest this stuff isn't safe. It's been used for thousands of years to treat toothaches and stuff. But, people can be allergic to literally anything. If you do well with Szechuan, you'll be fine.

Wasn’t as buzzy as the mint, but it was fine. Most likely higher stars for those that love cinnamon and not want it as extreme on the tingle side.

I worked at Sally's years ago and we got this plumper in. One of the girls tried it and we were all impressed with how well it worked so we all ended up getting some. I ended up forgetting about it over the years but my lips are uneven and it really bothers me so recently I was looking into plumpers and I remembered this! I'm so glad I remembered because plumpers that actually work are pricey and I just wasn't looking to spend that much rn. You absolutely cannot beat this price. I will say though, you have to be realistic with lip plumpers. You can't expect this to give you lip injection lips lol But if you want a decent plump without injections, this stuff is great. So I only put the product on the sides of my lips that are smaller to even them out. I put it on around 3PM and about 10mins later they were already decently plump. Around 5:30 it started wearing off, and by 6 a lot wore off but they were still more plump than normal. So you can get a good 3 hrs before you have to reapply. As with anything, products work for some and not others, but this product is definitely worth a try. I also want to just add a little disclaimer, my piercing is new so the bar is extra long that's why it's sticking out in the before photo and it was pushed down in the after photo. The plumper didn't lift my lips THAT much that it covered my piercing bar (I wish lol). But overall this stuff is awesome. 9/10

Honestly for me it feels like menthol; hot and cold like putting icy hot on your lips. The sensation did take a few minutes to bloom, but didn't turn into what I would call 'tingling' per se, at least with my body chemistry. It goes on super smooth and feels nice on the lips, but I don't know that it's much different than my usual burts bees balm. I do however appreciate that the menthol feeling doesn't seem to transfer to the mouth when licking the lips, at least not noticeably for me. I'm constantly fidgeting with my lips, so I think as some other reviewers have said, this may be useful for keeping my attention and trying to break the habit of frequently rolling and biting my lips. As a lip balm it's fine--a little gimicky and pricey for what it is, but I won't not use it. My only real complaint is I expected the sin-o-mint flavor to be cinnamony, based on the name. It just tastes/feels minty, and smells faintly herby kind of like ricola, so, not in a bad way, but not what I expected. I was hoping for a cinnamon heart spicy-sweet-hot flavor, which it most certainly is not.

I now own these in every flavor and every variety! I pass them out every year as stocking stuffers too!! So fun and so addicting, once you start applying it - you won't stop! The tinted ones are awesome - just enough color! Great variety of flavors and just a really great product.

Not sure what happened here. Chapstick was received in a plastic baggie and not in the cardboard container shown in the photos. I put it on immediately and it has no buzzing effect at all. I checked the label and it was manufactured in 2018. So I have apparently been sent a 6 year old chapstick, clearly expired. I have used this product in the past and loved it, it had intense buzzing that would last at least an hour or more. I never spend $6 on a chapstick but I wanted to treat myself, so I’m pretty disappointed. Not sure if it’s worth the hassle of exchanging.
